  1. This is what Hobie posted: Put the forks back on the bike 21) Put the fork tube back in the bike. Raise it up until it's 1.5 inches (I will dig up my manual, as listed above, but that's what I remember) from the bottom of the fork cap to the top of the triple tree. Tighen down up at the top tree first (because it's easy to get to) but don't forget to tighten the 14 mm bolt on the lower tree, too. Looking at the diagram in the Honda manual it looks as if the the measurement is from the top of the triple clamp to the top of the fork cap? Please chime in with info and thoughts.

  3. What was the point of impact? any damage to the forks or front wheel assembly?
  4. Looks like the nose assembly and lower fairings are a different color.
  5. Part number for the XX version? Please!
  6. Look at a 2001 XX. The red color is very sweet. Pictures of the red version do not do the color justice. Though the bikes color make a difference in overall speed. Black is the fastest followed by silver then red and last titanium.
  7. What does a Dyno Jet do for a carb'ed bike? I would assume you have to rejet the bike.
  8. Miles on the bike? Is the Viper included in the purchase of the bike?

  11. Anyone ever fog their XX for winter storage? I am just curious how much of a PITA is the procedure to fog an XX for 6-7 month storage.
  12. Bike has been sold to a current XX owner She is going to collect dust in a Canadian garage We will get it back after the Canadian Health system gets a hold of him.
