I am attempting to install a new set of slip-ons and am having a problem with them interferring with my swingarm. I had the same style cans on an older XX that I owned and had no issues. I just bought this 03 and I am not the first owner. It seems that the preload on the rear shock is cranked way down so part of my problem might be that the rear is sitting too low. But while riding if left the way that it is it still seems that the inside of the new cans will rub on the swingarm. Any one have any ideas? I have tried rotating the midpipes in every direction. I wwa sthinking of tring to mount the cans to the outside of the rear foot peg and see if that helped vice the inside like the tock pipes do. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
