  1. Hi Chris! Thanks for checking up on me during the ice storm. You're the best Canadian friend an American girl can have. ;)

  2. DAYUM....that does look huge, but it sounds like it will be worth it! Thank goodness you have Dora for support! Now, get your fatass up and do something!
  3. Another lb. down and still talking to myself.
  4. I've lost 16 lbs. since we started this challenge. Slow and steady is my motto.
  5. Damn Deac and Redd!!! You guys better knock it off!!! We already have enough fake drama between DBLXX and Aimless XX... We don't need any REAL drama!!! Serioulsy, Redd I hope everything is ok with you. And Deacon...I knew about Lacy and each time I heard about it again it always makes me send good thoughts your way... Keep us posted you two! Stay healthy everyone...
  6. Honestly... With the chinese food yesterday and drinking last night...I had no motivation to weight in... On Thursday I was up 2 lbs. so let's go with that number... Yeah me!!! Congrats to everyone who continues to lose!!! A lb. is still a loss... Well done!!! :icon_clap: I hope to be joining you soon!
  7. I know it's a lot of cardio, but it's a common training plan for someone who is racing as much as I will be this spring and summer... Doing the different exercises is a different workout and not as hard on your body as running every day... I don't know my body fat... Do you have a scale that measures it??? How accurate do you think it is??? Was it expensive??? Maybe I should get one...
  8. No weight training... I don't have time... I am just doing cardio (I am training for half-marathons, triathlons, etc.) so I swim, bike, and run. I've done this type of intense training before, but it was a couple summers ago... Yeah....I'm sure I need to drink more water...I bet that would help.
  9. LOL!!! I LOVE that cartoon!!! The scale does make you cry....but mostly discouraged!!! I appreciate all the kind words of support... I guess with my current training schedule I'm not as worried about my weight... I KNOW it will start to drop since I will be working out at minimum an hour per day for 6 days per week... I was just frustrated...and REALLY hungry...I'm not sure if I was getting enough calories... Back to the gym tonight...swimming for 30 min and biking for 50 min. Thanks again everybody!!!
  10. Sad, but probably VERY true!!!
  11. Ok...I'm kinda giving up... This week I started training REALLY hard again (8 mile run on Monday, 1 hr bike on Tuesday, 5 mile run on Wednesday, and so on). I have been eating really well and I weighed myself this morning... Up 2 pounds... So...today I ate Chinese for lunch... :icon_nono: I'll still play along and continue to weigh in, but I'm losing hope of beating anyone...
  12. You mean in Otto, right? Exactly... Honestly...you can really tell in your abs, love handle area... Not that I was looking or anything...
  13. Damn...looks good! You can definitely see a difference... Nice job!!! :icon_clap: And...better you than me...I would NEVER post pics without my shirt... :icon_shhh:
  14. I'm so damn hungry right now... That is all...
  15. Not good Dave... Not good at all... You still need to eat... It's difficult to know what is happening with your body, but I'll go with the "your gaining muscle mass" point of view... Actually, if you have recently started working out again, that is probably the truth... But it sucks to hear.. :icon_wall: Keep at it...you should see some weight loss in the next couple of weeks...
  16. +1....let's pick it up Deac!!!
  17. I know.....pathetic, isn't it!!! :icon_wall:
  18. Well...I guess I'm the winner for the least weight lost this week... 0.2 pounds... :icon_doh: Oh well...I'll hit it hard again next week...
  19. Me neither!!! I jumped on the scale today to take a peek and I only lost 0.2... We'll see what shows up on the "official weigh-in" tomorrow morning...
  20. Sorry about sounding like your wife... Er....umm.... I'm guessing that's probably it!!! You used to be working out and now you're not, but still eating the same... Ding, ding, we have a winner! Seriously, I think exercise is the key to weight loss. If exercise feels too hard on your body, then you should focus on losing a few pounds by just eating better. Then, once you've lost a little bit of weight 5-10 lbs., get started with exercise again... That's what I did and I feel much better even after only losing 6 pounds so far.
  21. Unfortunately...you're probably just getting older. As we age our metabolism slows meaning that we can longer eat the same foods and stay the same weight... If you're concerned about it, I would go get a physical which is always a good thing to do anyways before starting a new diet/exercise regime. Hang in there! We're here for you!!!
  22. Here is a good article my sister sent to me... The Secrets of Thin People
  23. Congrats to all you losers...especially Redd and Suzi! In this context....it's a good thing! What the hell Redd... .I'm not good enough to get on the list???? Nope. Did I just post that???
  24. :icon_clap: Very nice!!! Looks like you're well on your way to making it!!!
  25. I don't know if fitday has a membership fee, but I really like Weight Watchers online. Only $15.95 a month... Plus...be careful about ONLY watching calories and not paying attention to fat consumption... Agreed. I think this is just a fun way for all of us to get motivated to lose some weight and get back into shape... DO IT!!!! Join the fun!!!
