zer0netgain, thanks for all that info, I appreciate effort now I need to get some time between keeping everything tidy around the house in case these bushfires take off again and have some quality time with the XX, Rhys.
Thanks all, the gauge still works so does that mean the sensor in the tank is okay, but it is a globe or wiring issue or does it use a separate sensor to the gauge ? Rhys.
Hi, as above, my low fuel light has stopped working, did a search and couldn't find an exact answer as to the fix, if it's the globe how hard is it to replace ? If it's not the globe what else could it be, thanks in advance, Rhys.
Thanks, fella's that should give me a starting point for sure, the speed camera's are red hot over here, with only a 3kmh leeway even though the Australian design rules allow manufactures + or - 10% speedo error, revenue is a great motivator for the road rules, Rhys.
I've gone down 1 tooth on the front of my 97 Bird and was wondering where the speedo drive is taken from and is it manual or electronic. I'm just trying to work out if changing the sprocket has created an error in the speedo, until I can run it past a radar speed check on the highway instead of finding out the hard way, thanks, Rhys.
I've also been offered a apropovic full system, is anyone running one of these on a carby bird, what's it like, can you get at the oil filter and can you retain the center stand, thanks, Rhys.
I've been offered a set of Remus gran prix cans for half price and was thinking of hooking them up with a K&N filter on my 97, has anyone done this, if so how does it go,any problems getting the jetting right and what jetting did you end up with, Thanks, Rhys.
