  1. My two bits worth from Canada, I have a '03 Bird and installed a British made chain oiler called a 'Lubman'. It cost about 16 pounds UK and is very simple to install and use. It operates on simple old gravity feed, no electric power required. My experience has been very good. I installed one on my old YZF1000 several years ago and never had to adjust the chain again! The chain never looked so good and it sure beat the heck of constantly trying to lube with spray cans or other messy stuff. Check for their website online. Cheers, Dave
  2. I'm thinking of putting on a set of VFR bars on my 03 XX. I have seen some of the threads on this conversion. The questions I have, and can't find the threaded answer for, are : 1. Will new brake and clutch lines be required. And if so is it much of a job to get a good bleed on the brake system. ( I'm not worried about the clutch bleed, but the LBS is a concern) 2. Will any other new cables be required like the throttle or electrical ? Cheers, Dave 2003 XX
  3. I'm thinking of going to a set of beetle bags for my 03 XX. Does anyone have any feedback on these things ... are they great, are they a good / poor storage system ( i.e. odd interior shape ), do they leak, are they worth the money. Any feedback would be great. Cheers, Dave 2003 XX.
  4. Would the corbin seat, slip on mufflers ( vance & hines ), beetle bags and tinted windscreen from a '99 XX fit onto '03 XX without modifications or problems ???? Or how much modification might be needed ??? Any help would be great Cheers, Dave
