  1. If someone has a genuine interest in the bike, I'm only about 25 miles away.
  2. Still working on this. Won't be able to do anything before the new year.
  3. I have a 1690 and a mount, but I'll take it if no one else can use it. Already broke one and had a replacement sent but this could save a week turn around for the next time. Sending PM...
  4. Yeah I did get it almost a year to date. Sold her last week and new owner seems to enjoy her more than I could have. But as we all know, life sucks (lost my job) once in a while and therefore we need to move back home. XX in Ethiopia is as useful as Viagra on impotent I got myself KTM 950 SM and it's full of plastics, so this bag is useless. Aw man, gotta do what you gotta do.
  5. Had to sell your XX??? When? Why? Didn't you just get it this time last year...
  6. This or the premier site is the only place he could get that money for that bike. Still sounds like way too much, tho. Sure there is some demand and it would still sell for the right price. Closer to $6K would be the right price. It is November... The only bikes that I remember bringing that kind of money on here (that weren't big bore or turbo) were the Cadillac pearl bike in FL or the super trick 01 that Stan picked up.
  7. Almost be interested just for the ipod. $50 shipped to 46250?
  8. Is the top box included in sale? Wasn't listed in description, but is in the picture...
  9. Not mine... http://muncie.craigslist.org/mcy/3310000635.html I have a 1997 blackbird which has spun a bearing. Bike still starts and runs, but you can hear the rod knocking. I don't have time to rebuild the engine so I'm hoping to salvage some of my money that I have in it and let someone have it who can make it what it should be - a beast. Odometer shows 36k, but miles are not actual. I can provide pictures for interested parties. plastics are in rough shape and i currently do not have them on the bike. If interested call or text 260-232-2345. Asking 2000 OBO, price is pretty flexible.
  10. Neat bike! Sold a Buddy 125 to a fella from Chicago a couple months ago. Got within a couple hundred of what you are asking for your 50. I posted on Craigslist under Motorcycle/Scooters. GLWS.
  11. First used 14R I've seen for sale. GLWS!
  12. Went with a Silver Star Ultra 9005 (4100k) replacement. The zXe (4200k)was $55 for two (only needed one), and I was able to purchase a single Ultra for $26. It's much brighter than the original, especially after adjusting the height.
  13. Only when sales for hyperbikes jump dramatically. Suzuki has been the only maker that has successfully sold these bikes every year. Hayabusa's aren't even the top dog anymore and I'd be willing to bet that they still double the number of 14's sold for the year in 2012.
  14. First extensive night ride complete. Well, the light is still bright as shit and I was flashed four times on my way downtown by people thinking I had my high beams on (including one bike). The light is more manageable and focused with the shield. The hi beam will now be functional as soon as I get a good replacement bulb that is closer to the lo beam color (5000k). No plans of an HID hi beam replacement, just a 4300 or 5000k bulb if I can find one.
  15. I sent the email to everyone involved, but here is the shield that Eric constructed in action. The biggest obstacle was connecting the shield to the bulb, and that was pretty simple, really. Used a 1/16 drill bit and opened it up more with an 1/8. Slid right in and bent over tabs. Nice fit into the housing (almost like it wasn't even there). Was actually easier to reinstall into the housing than the first time. Here are views with light off and on. And a straightline shot to see how bright that bitch still is... No real night riding done since the install, but here are a couple shots that were taken to see the viewing area. Thanks again for all that went into this, Eric. Payment should arrive tomorrow...
  16. I was given a plastic razor blade from a buddy that worked at a local car dealership- found that plastic pot/pan scrapers work great for the same items (removal of decals, graphics, etc). Have you tried Simple Green? That stuff has a thousand uses, and it smells good
  17. The flat black actually looks pretty good! Sorry it has to go, but good luck with sale.
  18. Headlight sold. Throttlemeisters still available- pm sent to Gibbs.
