  1. How much is asking? I have a buddy who has a Kaw problem. ...and likes to tinker. Pics? Ill get some pics today for ya. I guess make an offer. I didnt really look at it close. Looks like someone took one of the side cases off...(by the shifter??) Every piece of plastic is cracked in some way, calipers are seized. Also have a box full of parts. Saw 4 Honda plugs, box of fiber clutches and other misc odds and ends. Like I said, have a working key and the title and its not locked up, so it will run. I figured someone might be looking for just the airbox, or forks, or wheels. Ill part it out for anyone here
  2. Anyone?? Anyone want the whole bike? Its a real roach. Doubt it would ever run again..but its all there. Have CT title
  3. Im always a day late. I was going to ask you what kind of battery it was. Cant tell you how many bikes Ive serviced with the same problem. Wont start, but the battery is brand new. First thing I check is the battery. Id say 90% of the time its a crapper. The other 10% is stupid shit like loose terminals, blown fuses, or bad grounds. Yes Yuasa's are pricey, but take care of them and they'll last a long time. Im not sure what my battery is made out of, but it is the ORIGINAL..which would make it 11 years old. Been on a tender since day 1. For the past 3 years, Ive said I was going to replace it. Now, I just want to see how long it will go.
  4. Make it harder than 54 RC. Peened the forming end over like butter. Next step..D2 @ 60 RC.
  5. Thanks John. Im not trying to undercut you or anything, and since his shock has to come all the way off, I just figured I could turn a piece of round stock down to "x" dimension and bore a hole of "x" dimension. Lop it off and grind it to 5mm. Essentially making a washer. Your piece is awesome and saves a bunch of time, but like I said, we have to take the shock off anyway, and to make a "washer" is 100 times easier than to make what you have. So Id be good with a washer that measures say 1" OD x .438" ID x .2" thick? (which would be a hair over 10mm ID and another hair over 5mm thick)
  6. I think hes settled on 5mm, but what I really need the other two dimensions. Inner and outer diameter of the spacer.
  7. My buddy just bought fork springs and a rear shock spring for his 01. Shock has to be removed anyway so I dont need any special "C" shaped shim. I was gonna machine one up quick for him. Ive heard 3mm, 5mm, 6mm?? Whats the best ticket? I need the proper ID and OD as well. Thanks bros!
  8. A quick check on the Motion Pro website reveals that there is a suz/yam specific version. The honda version has a different part #. It might work, but Id hate like hell for you to go through the trouble, and have it not work. Ill hold off for now, but thanks anyway. If I can somehow verify it would work, Ill let you know
  9. valve spring tool This is the Motion Pro version, but the Honda version is similar. Havent used mine in like 10 years and guess what? Its gone. Anyone have one of these relics that is taking up some space in their garage?????
  10. Would you consider selling just the chain? I presume its a 120?? Side plate color? thanks
  11. Yup, bar ends fit no problem with stock grips and clip ons. Do you have any interest in the blingy grips? The reason I ask is because while the polished ends look fine with the stock grips, the stock ends look terrible with the polished grips. It would be nice to sell em as a set as they kinda go together. Up to you though. Ill separate if you want.
  12. Those bar ends will screw right into the stock bar ends. They were on in conjunction with those polished grips so you may have to trim grips. Maybe not though. Give me a few minutes and Ill check. Standby...
  13. Done. How much would you like to contribute to the slush fund? And tell me where they're going
  14. No idea what the bling is worth. Cant find it on the net anywhere. Stuff is decent quality though. Best offer Sprocket is like brand new. 16 tooth. Had it on my 99 for like 100 miles. Took it off and went back to stock. Fits many later model Honda's. Maybe $30 new? Best offer. Clip ons are stock XX. Like $115 each from Ronayers. Best offer. Buell pegs are brand new. Have original boxes. Like $40 a set. Best offer. Seriously, Id be happy with beer money. Pegs SOLD!
  15. ? Yes sir. +1. Fuck that marble horseshit. Ive used these on my last 3 BB's and VFR's with zero issues. Pick em up at your local auto parts store. Only thing is that they might be visible on the Rumph though.
  16. Seller refers to aftermarket cam oilers and such. 1986 VF1000R's had no cam bearing problems.
