I just bought a escort passport radar detector 8500 . I would like to know from the people that have mounted radar detectors. How did you mount the radar detector to keep it from bouncing around. I would also like to know if any body has hard wired the detector and where is the best place to splice into the wiring harness. My next question is on the power commander whats the best way to mount it under the seat. I put micron slip ons on my bird what kind of power gains am I looking at with the micron slip-ons-K&n air filter and the power commander. Just a heads up for people that ride or drive in Oregon .
