As the topic says, I currently have the Yoshi RS-3 full SS system on my bike with a Factory jet kit + K&N, here in Houston on my 97'. I purchased the bike this way, and I heard that the 5K RPM "flat spot" was eliminated or reduced with this setup, however I still notice the dropoff. This is prompting me to look for another setup... I have no idea what HP the bike is supposed to be producing with this setup. I've been looking at the Akra full, but I was wondering if it wouldn't be anything more than an asthetic upgrade? Oh, one more thing - how much HP should the bike be producing with the Yosh full + Factory Kit + K&N? How much with the Akra fulll + Factory Kit + K&N?

Does anybody else have one of these? I got mine, and I have to say that this has to be the shittiest excuse for a refrigerator magnet that I've ever seen. I have zero luck with proper fittment - and the areas around the upper part of the "wings" have torn. I'm really considering returning it and telling them to shove it. Has anybody else sucessfuly installed this thing?

I've been noticing perodic loss of illumination in the speedo/clock. All the other gauges stay lit. It seems to be jar/vibration induced. I would assume that there is a single bulb responsible for this? And on the topic of bulbs, are there brighter replacements avalible? The stock ones seem a bit dim.

The little slits on the side of the faring get more than adequate air flow at speed, better that a lot of other non-ram air bikes, plus its cool air, too 8)

I've searched quite a bit for some conclusive information... What's the story on timing advancement and this bike? (97-98) I want to get a 4 degree, but I've heard reports that advancers have robbed horsepower. Also, does the advancer make the engine require higher octane fuel? Thanks!

Hello all, I removed my gas tank today to service the bike, however in my rush I failed to be observant of where the hoses went, particulary the vaccum lines. Does anybody have a quick guide or perhaps a picture showing the routing of what goes where? Thanks!
