  1. That bike was carbureted and I didn't have the system on long enough to bother to rejet the bike. I would assume a slight HP increase could be gained but at the cost of unreal sound levels, I don't know if it would be worth it? Yeah, I bet it was loud as hell. Probably pretty cool for the first 10 minutes or so. If you ping K9XX he has that old system of jeffs, he might be willing to part with it, but I am not sure. He is hooked on the migs.
  2. Okay I am thinking I may pull the HID out of my high beam. I do ALOT of night riding, and I can't work the high beam like I would like. I can't leave it on for very long. So I am thinking I am gonna go with regular ole H7. But I want something good. I have heard good things about Sylvania Silverstars I think. But I have heard there are some better ones out there too. Obviously I want the closest thing to HID I can get, but I need to be able to operate my high beam without having to worry about needing to leave it on for a long time.

I wantED a PO, but decided I couldn't wait that long, so went with a Hawke Oiler cause the price was right. Kinda had a feeling it was gonna take a while.

    Warped Rotor

The quickest and easiest way is to use a dial indicator. Takes 2 seconds.
  5. Well I put on the pilot roads a while back, and have almost 1K miles on them. I have never felt more unstable in turns in my life. It feels like I am riding on ball bearings. Not all the time, but most of the time. It actually feels like the whole bike is sliding on ice. Am I the only one that is having/has had this problem?
  6. OK, I don't get that either so why don't you just shut the fuck up before you get a grudge fuck in Red Bluff. :icon_bondage: I think he is referring to the fact that you didn't match the font of the CBRXX logo.

    Quick question

+1, I just switched to an 18t this last weekend, and the only noticeable difference is the 6th gear roll on power. Even that isn't anything serious. Still has plenty to get you around a car. Or whatever else you might want to do. I think the XX shoulda come with an 18t from the factory.
  8. +1 from my understanding, he ended up more or less designing and building a Forrest Turbo Kit for the most part. The way it sounded to me was they didn't do much of anything right. But I am anxious to see his thoughts. I have actually heard bad things about the Mr. Turbos as well.
  9. +1 Hehe. I think I am gonna stick around and watch this. It might be good.
  10. Will the pro-oiler GB be launched at the same time?

    Gearing +/-

Okay, I am about to order a new chain and sprockets, and am trying to decide what I want to go with on the front.....Stock, or an 18T. From my understanding the 18T corrects speedo error, but then the Odometer is off. Are there any benefits that I am missing? Oh, and a touch better fuel mileage. Anyone have an opinion?
  12. I want to stay stock sprocket on the front, so that I can have the rubber damper on the front. If tha tis the case scratch it, and I will go outside of stock and just go the least expensive route. I may go with the 18 on the fron and not worry about the rubber damper.
  13. Okay, I did a search, and it was like doing a search on oil or tires. I am going to keep this very simple. I am would like to keep the front stock. But would like to make the adjustment for my speedo error. I understand that the 18T front would do that, but I am thinking if I keep the front stock and go +3 in the rear it would do about the same. What chain do I need, I would prefer either gold, or nickel (gotta have a little bling), and rear sprocket, would like a gold, or silver as well. Oh yeah, and I would like to keep it pretty reasonably priced. So what ya got? What do I need to buy? And remember....K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid)
  14. Hey Alex, what would it take to get a group buy going on these to get them a little cheaper? How many sets would we need to get sold to make it pretty cheap?
  15. I have used it before. I lost alot of weight with it. Then I quit taking it, and all the weight came back very very quickly. I have since started taking vitamins EVERY DAY, as well as I drink a pre-workout drink for energy that has creatine in it, (No-Xplode) and after my workout I drink CellMass which is , you guessed it, a post workout creatine drink. I have seen some huge results with this. However, the last few weeks, I haven't been working out as much as I should and have lost a little of my form. But, after my test tomorrow, I m going to really start hitting it hard. If you excersize, and build even a little bit of muscle you will be able to keep the weight off much easier. I worked out 6 days a week for 70 days. Then got off track, and have kept the weight off pretty well. Still hav ethe beginnings of a six pack, and plan on finishing it before too long. My point being is I have more muscle, and have a much better metabolism than what I did 6 moths ago.

    Chain Oilers

Sweeeeeet! So when does it start? Where do we order? How do we pay? Oh damn I am so excited.... Now I gotta find a way to get the $185 AND justify it to the wife. I need a new chain and sprockets anyway.... Hmmmm this isn't looking so good.
  17. yes, you want the "sky grey" color. The XX was available in titanium color in Europe in '96 through '98, and in Canada in '98.... Here is the cover and the part # http://www.bagster.com/en/moto/catalogue-z...=1328C&idprod=1 The picture doesn't give justice to the color. The bag is more like it, though. http://www.bagster.com/en/moto/catalogue-z...=803W1&idprod=2 And here is a photo of a bike with the cover installed. Contact CIMA Intl. for more info..... 866-2HELMET or helmets@aol.com...... Same people who import Nolan helmets..... Good luck, DAMMIT PETER!!!! Do you know how much money you just cost me?!?!?!?!?! Thanks a million seriously. Rick
  18. I would love a bagster, BUT, I have yet to see that they offer one in titanium color. If I could find one of them I would be all over it. Any ideas?
  19. Anyone got dome pics of these in the dark with the lights on brakes on, signals etc? Is everything bright enough? Someone take some pics.
  20. I was doing really well till recently, stress and being busy has killed my workout routine, and my eating smart, and I am back to where I started. I have probably put on about 5 punds......myabe.....somewhere around there. I might weigh in the morning.
  21. I am with Redbird on the pulsating brakes. Sounds like a warped rotor to me. Pay close attention to whether it is the lever or the whole bike pulsating. Sounds like a good reason to get some blingy wave rotors to me.
