  1. It connects to a drain built into the sidewalk so I cant real bury it any deeper - at least on that end. And where it ends up at the house is also fixed where it passes through the foundation...
  2. Ok - here goes. My house has full finished basement, but there is a crawl space under the floor and sump below that. Not easy to get to. In my front yard along the property line is gravel bed, and there is a black PVC line there that keeps bowing up and un-buying itself. Looks like crap. It apparently goes up to the side of the house then into the crawl space to the sump. Twice in the three years I've lived here I've taken a pick and shovel, dug a trench under the line and reburied it best I can - but I guess with temperature changes etc it just pushes its way back up. On the other side of my property my neighbor has the same setup. Except that 1-2x a day his drain pumps out a good bit of water - probably a half gallon or so a couple times a day. His is the only house in the neighborhood that seems to pump water at all. Still - I was concerned that our houses were that close together and he has all this water in his sump and mine isnt pumping. So I pulled up the little catch in the basement floor and crawled my fat ass over to the sump. To ad insult to injury someone ran the main sewer line right over the lid on the sump. Took me a minute to weasel the lid off and look down. There is a pump there covered in dust, and zero evidence the sump has ever been wet. Some heavy, dry dust in the bottom - no water line or any sign of water ever. I get the lid put back on and while I"m there look around a bit - and I notice that the drain from the sump pump to my drain outside isnt even connected - and as far as I can tell never has been in the 20 years the house has stood. The line from the sump and the line from outdoors kind of end in the same area but arent lined up and actually way overlap in length. Looks like it was half ass put in and never connected. So my real question is - should I either figure it out and connect the line like it was supposed to be - or more to my liking just cut and cap the line outside so it doesnt keep sticking up out of the ground. Just eliminate it entirely. Do I even need it?? A third alternative I guess is there is a deck drain in the area from the sump - it's connected to the basin under the water heater, I suppose to let water drain off if the heater leaks. Its a smaller diameter but I could probably tie the sump pump line into that drain without a too much fuss. Any thoughts? Never had a house with sump before.
  3. You'll laugh but I've no-shit had people buy motorcycles then complain that they have to shift gears...
  4. I'm in if you want some help with the human fund.

    1. RXX

Excellent! I will get the stuff together over the next few days.

  5. I get that. My wife does too - but those are a lot bigger/heavier than this 22 footer.
  6. What would you like to know? Customer says it was used three times. Super clean. Flooring etc has zero wear. Garage probably right for 2-3 dirtbikes or maybe two ATVs. Power awning etc but fairly basic.

  8. Ok - my dealership did lol. Traded him for a new Motus MSTR. For those of you who know what that is - bow down to my salesman-superpower. Have net ridden it. Want to but scared to hurt it. Possibly the most valuable bike to ever pass through my hands. Owner of my store heard about it and he’s buying it.
  9. Got this beast on trade today. It’s really something to behold. 230+hp and light as a feather. $72k new - several on Cycle Trader in the $65k range. This one is not a garage queen at 15k miles but all the service work has been done and everything works. Going up for sale at $49k - probably take $40k from one of the crew. Rare beast.
  10. Still got the Full Akra. Does have a ding in the can from my move apparently.
  11. Just sold it 5 minutes ago - guy hasn't even picked it up yet and I'm regretting it. I'm also just not riding it - and now with my 5 five bikes I really didn't have the space. Back to the goodies. The Akra I noticed doesn't have the "decal" on it anymore. I believe I have metal Akra labels in my box of much misc. I've had this several years wrapped in bubble wrap always with the intent of installing on old blue - just never did it. Can, header etc are all complete and looks ready to install. Corbin seat is in good condition but dusty. I'll wipe it off and take some pics later today. Still not sure what the correct pricing is for this stuff. I'm thinking $700 for the full exhaust and $250 for the seat?
  12. Bike didn’t sell tonight. Will get my shit together when it does.
  13. Just like that - all the way to the header.
  14. So.. if tonight goes as planned, I will be XX-less for the first time since 2005. I'm a bit bummed about it - but I put less than 1000 miles on it last year for the first time ever - and I keep adding other bikes to a crowded garage. Somebody tell Bowen old blue might be sold... Anyway.. I've got a couple good parts in the garage that might be wanted around here: Full system Ti- Akrapovic exhaust. Near new condition. Supposedly for first gen XX's but I'm told with a little tweaking of the radiator mount will fit any XX. Corbin seat with backrest. Custom built up in the front for taller/wider riders. Will post pics if the bike sells tonight - I'm still trying to figure out fair values.
  15. Pretty much - if you drag a nail across it you can feel a little more rubbery texture than just glass - but its really thin. The whole thing is molded to the shape of the watch and fits tight. I had put a number of small scratches on my series 2 over the last couple years.... nothing like the TSA added up still enough to annoy a little. I'm hoping this reduces that... and for $12...
  16. Agreed - more gadgets on the screen and still more readable. At a friends recommendation I put a case/screen protector on it and I dig it. Like a frogskin rubber but stiff and thin. Should help with minor wear - didn’t effect the screen at all.
