  1. Thank you... Wildo monday...
  2. My kid or someone shot my left mirror with an airsoft gun and shattered it. Anyone got a line on some glass? Any help will be appreciated.
  3. snagged one for 30.00 today now the stator and gasket is in order. I guess the bike is giving me the hint to do a hell of a winter tear down and service. Thanks jimmy Where did you get one for $30? Is it new? I installed a 2001 R1 R/R on my 97 a while ago and I don't mind keeping 1 as spare if it's $30 :-) Nope its a used one, also check out the RR for the R6 it cross referenced a few times same hook up!

  5. John thanks for the help and the effort, I guess all I need now is a 99-01 R1 Regulator. Thanks to all for you input.
  6. I dont believe that one would work, mine is the one that plugs directly to the RR with no pigtail. Or do I clip the R1 wires and clip to the adapter mike makes ? I have Mike setting me up with the adapter for the R1 RR that fits the 97-2001 I believe. I hope I just made sense....
  7. Cool , I will be standing by.....
  8. Ill give it a whirl! 55 bucks is worth a try. Whats your PP address and i will send fundage. I sure wish we had the enthusiasm here in the states as so for the bird in the UK! Hey is the mike in question Bartonmd? ps what would y0u charge for a stator and a cover gasket??
  9. What do you have for the Mike adapter, an R1 RR and whats your best price for your JAWS RR? YOu can PM me. If the price is right I will take the whole shooting match! My bird is a 97. The RR is fried on my bike but the wires are in great shape, sooo if the RR is fried and from the reading on prior posts my stator is gone also, so if ya have a good stator in mind I can purchase one from you shop also... Might as well keep it in the family. Once again thanks for the reply.
  10. Gents, any words of wisdom about the "JAWS" parts ie RR and STATOR. I need both and looking at the JAWS price, I was wondering if there is any one out there that has used the parts and can vouche for the diiference in price? #1. are they that much better? as opposed to using OEM.
  11. Dude you are the nasty mc shizel on ebay! Thanks for lookin out for me...I am watchin it , thanks for the tip...regards Jimmy
  12. Could ya get me a TI kit? Will PP the funds to ya ! Thanks for the offer on the old kit but the TI needles sound so bullet proof... I have a factory TI kit and I can get a regular kit cheap 50% off retail for military discount. Let me know cuz I have to order a few things from Factory for my 900RR. Factory TI kit cant be too much different than a akrapovic kit (type of pipe installed). How much for it? also difference between the factory TI and the regular kit? if its just the price let me know and I will PP the $ to ya....Thanks Jimmy I work nights and I am just getting to my personal emails. sorry for the late reply..

  14. Anyone have a stage 1 kit laying around for a 97? I am starting the winter projects.
  15. What is incorporated in a stage 1 kit? I have a friend with a lot of jets , springs etc anything to set up the carbs for my bike. I just bought a akropovic 4-2-1 and need to set the carbs up for a header with stock airbox ,filter etc. So I need the size of jets etc if anyone who has the same setup.. Thanks
  16. Ya got that right! I will put her on when I am doing some custom paint this winter.. Thanks for the reply... I have had the BB a couple of years now , and I am always suprised by this amazing piece of machinery.. Do you know how this pipe sounds on the BB???
  17. HEY GUYS , I JUST BOUGHT A USED TI EXHAUST ON EBAY FOR THE 97 BB. IS THERE ANY OTHER ITEMS NEEDED TO MAKE THIS SYSTEM RUN RIGHT AFTER INSTALLATION?
  18. Oh no my brother ! Preach on! This is the input I was looking for.....Even though I believe I am sold on the Ti force, I know there is something else out there quieter. But the custom approach is a viable solution. Thanks all of you for your support.. I goota go to work.. later
  19. Hey Guys, its been a while. I am looking for a header that's not too loud. but sounds deep. I am looking for the performance end of the spectrum, cost is not an option. Which header turns the bird on? What have you tried, and what are you running now?
  20. Yes it seals leaks also, ya just gotta check your tires before ya ride so you can Identify any punctures that have occured. This stuff is the heat!!!Screw paying to have your tires balanced, weights on your rims, change your own tires put this stuff in and go..check out the website .. Ride-on TPS tire sealant.. Sorry it took so long to respond, ..I just got the heads-up on the email..
  21. Hey Brother, It does not mess with the guages, it stays in a fluid type state, its base is ethylene glycol, it balances, and seals, I hink I would still leave my valve stem at the three or 9 o'clock position to check air... But this stuff is used in fleet and military applications so, as you know or dont know the pressure is checked at normal intervals, its called weekly preventative , maintenance, checks and services.. According to the dealers a lot of bike shops are starting to catch on..
  22. Well ya wanna hear a good one? I had a front end shimmy. So I asked the fine gents here on the site what they thought it was, for the most part it sounded like headset bearings, so I bought some bearings and went to a buds house where I was going to use all his tire changing equipment , lifts etc. So I change my tires and I was going to balance them, he says what are ya going to use to balance the tires?? I was going to do it the ol fashioned way with weights , bubble balacers the whole shot!! Not anymore!! He pulled a couple of bottles of Ride-ON out, off of his shelf we checked the dosing charts for my size tires, put the stuff in the tirres, re-installed the tires, rode my bike for a few miles (30) and that was it!! No front end shimmy, also my tires actually felt balanced for the first time, and thats after 4 sets of tires, and 4 different dealers installing them, wheel weights and all.. no more spin balancing for me, no more dealers high prices for changing tires, and I dont have to change my headset bearings! If you havent checked this stuff out its at www.ride-on.com, you might be impressed! We use it in our HUMMERS in the sand box, (trashganistan, and ICRACK) also.. I cant say Ride-on does too good against the landmines, or our favorite, the roadside bombs. But I can say its the shit in the bag of chips for my XX..

    New Tires

I've had the Macadams, Dunlops, and now Avon, never pilots, but my friend in SC just got some and he is saying they dont have the staying power in the twisty's he felt like they want to walk out from under him in hard cornering.. Dunlops blow , it could be me, but Ive been down twice with them!! Macadam aint bad, AVon I am evaluating Avon after my headset bearing change today!
  24. I am 70" more or less considered a short rider. The corbin put me back in the saddle away from the tank, but I didn't feel a difference in peg position. I like the corbin for the long rides. The stocker pounded the "gooch" on long trips!!! But I liked the stocker in the twisty's..Deal's gap...
