  1. Metrosexual oops...

    ?

...Actually I'll probably need to get in with a special interst group for the next few years...

I can't turn black, could turn female, but can't afford/don't want to., Could go out of work, but I'd miss that, won't be old enough for AARP or such, don't currently have a handicap except that I have Republican leanings, so maybe I could practice at being gay.

Do you have a source for homosexual oops in flaming pink? That might get me a tax break or some other preferential treatment...

Royal Crown - the anti anti drug

  2. Is this automatically adjusted or manually adjustable

Well, from what I've seen, if you turn it manually it will automatically speed up.

But they do slow down on their own after 10 or 15 minutes

    group buy ?

It's also great that these aren't available at the "Premire Site", isn't it :icon_biggrin:

If there is any remaing warranty I'm in - Ti for me...

  3. Notify eBay. I have in the past. We are our brothers keeper. eBay will pull it if it looks bad to them. (should I have capitalised eBay at the start of a sentence?) There is usually a button right on the listing.....

Also some eBay members leave their accounts unattended for too long and they get hijacked.

It would help the owner of that account to stay out of this trouble that some hijacker is starting.

  4. "MUST SELL"

    ...hmmmn - chumming for sharks?....

Looks like the owner has money to me - driveway is about a mile long... trampoline, nice play set - new truck - well I suppose - he could be getting hit by too many payments, but looks like he's set to me. He's probably a salesman and knows what to throw up in an ad.

I see you bid. Generally good people over in that neck of the woods.

    Good luck.

  5. MY FRIEND BOUGHT A CLEAN 99 BIRD THAT SAT IN A WHAREHOUSE FOR 6+YEARS. THE BIKE HAD SEVEN HUNDRED MILES UPON PURCHASE. HE IS HAVING BAD BACK PROBLEMS AND SAYS THE BIRD HURTS HIM. I'M TRYING TO TALK HIM INTO NEW BARS BUT I THINK HE'S JUST GIVING UP.

ANYWAY- 99' BIRD ALL STALK - NEWER MICHELIN ROADS, STOCK EVERYTHING ELSE- ALL FLUIDS AND EVERYTHING HAVE BEEN CHANGED. THIS BIRD IS CLEAN AND WILL BE UP FOR SALE SOON I THINK. HE WANTS TO GET $5500.00

Hi - FWIW - pictures usually help sell these things. Could you post a couple?

  6. I'm sadly selling my 2000 Blackbird in the Titanium color. It has 19K miles, Michelin Pilot Power tires, a Mototek undertail, Leo Vince slip ons, K&N filter, clear alternatives signals, Hyperpro progressive springs at both ends and 5wt oil in the forks. It has always been garaged and it's very very clean. It has two small cracks in the fairings, one on the upper one front strapping it down for transport and around the bolt hole on the rear fairing. I'm the second owner and I've had it for 4 years now. I purchased it with only 2200 miles on it. I live in Stafford Springs Connecticut and the price is $5000. Call for an appointment. Jeff 860-559-6400

Have you had any contacts on this at 5K?

    Thanks

  7. Why shop around? University Motors can get them to you.

Also bear in mind that the Buell mod will fit your peg attachment point, as well as the lowering blocks that Dave is selling.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

I just realized the lowering brackets might cost more in the short run, but I'd save money over buying the extra rubber and plates.

I've read a smidge about the Buell kits, but don't recall seeing a picture of them. Are they prety much the same? Who has them?

    Thanks,

    Bill

  8. For sale section may not be the best place for this kind of question. I'm looking for a say 76.28 percent chance type of answer.

Does anyone have a best guess on if these would work on a Hurricane?

Not sure which Hurricane you're referring to. If you mean a 1000F, then yes, the attachment point of these will fit your bike. However, I can make no guarantees or even conjecture as to whether they will foul the bodywork or interfere with nearby hardware. My own 1000F is many years down the road, so I'm unable to check the fitment. You would still need to purchase late model rubbers and hardware as noted previously in this thread.

I'll take a set.Let me know if you use paypal or address to send money to.

    Thanks, john

    Got your PM.

Yes, It's a 1000F. I'l think about it and check out the plastic around the attach points.

    Thanks for the opinion,

    Bill
