  1. Thanks for the review.  I hope that it doesn't apply to their tools as I have been sucked into buying more (7 I think).  I do have their lawn mower for 2 years now and it has been flawless and haven't had any trouble so far with the rest.  The price and the one battery is what drew me in.

Unless one wants to experience the full charm of 1950's automotive technology and all of the bad that goes along with it, points are just an ugly memory.  I can't imagine owning a points distributor that hasn't had a Pertronix Ignitor installed.

Maybe everyone is spoiled now?  My 78 Subaru had points and every 10K I would check them plus the spark plugs would get swapped out often because of the leaded gas and being regular style but it only took a couple of minutes and really wasn't a hassle to me.  With the old style ignition you could almost always get it to run at lest somewhat, with the new stuff, when it dies you ain't going anywhere.  Saying all of that, yes the new stuff works better.

Edit to add:  I just remembered my Falcon had a Accel race dual point that was good for 10,000 rpm and seemed to work well.

Something on my end ? Here's what I get ---- Sorry, there was a problem reacting to this content.

That happened on my phone the other day but have never happened on my computer which I use to view this site 99.5% of the time so I thought it was just a phone thing.

We had the roof shingled in 2019. Finally. Now a couple months ago we had hail damage and her contractor and the insurance company both recommended a complete re-roof. I had talked to Tim back then and we got a 35 years shingle but it wasn't hail rated. We're spending a couple extra thousand this time and getting hail resistant. That cost will be on top of the insurance check. They're starting to tear off on one side of the house today.

My son has a construction business and he tells me all the time about the astronomical price increases of cost to him that have to be passed on to even make a profit.

Honestly, IF the lawn guy would be content to only come once a month,

I don't know about your area but here in the spring mowing the grass once a month you would be baling it like hay.  Sometimes it could use twice a week unless you are bagging so the clippings isn't laying thick and compounds the following week.

Edit to ad:  Mowing the grass on a tractor (or zero turn) can be really relaxing. Some listen to music, the neighbor has a mounted cooler and drinks beer, I just use ear plugs and be off in another world enjoying the fresh grass smell.

So, why do the INSTRUCTIONS not mention this?  The largest that would fit barely went in, so I went a size smaller.  Doesn’t change the fact that using a small adjustable wrench and my bare hands, it broke.

Did you drill first or just use the existing hole?  Also the heat cycle is important, did you do that?

It’s going to the mechanic now.

Or since it is a 2005, just forget about it.  Don't bleed that wheel as there shouldn't be any air since you were just changing the fluid.  If the caliper acts up, then replace it.  There really is no reason at this time to spend money on it.   Or if you can't sleep at night worrying about it, have it done when getting inspected or other work being done instead of hassling with it now.
