Mine is 10mm above stock, FWIW to limit diving when braking hard.
How important is the oil level? I mean, will a 1/16 of a inch make any difference? A 1/8"?
-
things improved dramatically after cycling the pads back into the calipers.
Yea, but why? Is it because it is getting fresh fluid back into the caliper?
-
One more thing about the lowering link, the one I got just had brass bushings in it. The stock one has needle bearings. I didn't think that is was working smoothly so I had the lowering link machined out and the needle bearings pressed in. Smooth now.
-
On the signal lenses, do you use it on the inside or out?
-
Anyone else done this?
I did this without any problems. Don't go past one inch in the front.
-
I have now conclusively demonstrated to myself that I must lower the bike (don't ask how).
I think he is saying that the ground is too far from his feet!

I had a very hard time getting mine off. Just make sure the clamps are loose and wiggle a lot while pulling. There isn't anything else holding them on. Or-call Nik.

What is proper way to clean/reuse K&N filter?
Buy the cleaning kit. Use the spray cleaner from the inside out. The kit comes with instrutions. No compressed air.

I have ordered from them for years with good service. Not as fast getting to me as Dennis Kirk but never had a problem. They must have one of the worst web site around.
-
How much troulble was it to install?
Yes, give us the details.
-
I don't think that removing them would be worth the hassle, IMO. I think you'd be better off buying an aftermarket system.......unless you're really that bored.
I think the point was that you could not buy a 4 into 2 system so I was thinking of making the most of the stock system before the cans.

So, has anyone tried to cut open the collector take out the perforated steel with fiberglass packing around them, then weld it back together?
-
PS: Nice president you've got again
Thanks. The majority of voters thought so too.

I run a direct port 70 shot on my bike, but use it rarely.
Why? Do you use a controler? At the track, when would you bring it in (2nd or 3rd gear)?
-
Dipstick. I think it is 4.1 quarts.
-
Most of the people at the track tell me that on mostly stock Hondas, the factory clutch is the best. The after market ones grab and don't let you slide it out of the hole.
-
Full Soft was the best
Do most of you guys run the stock rear on full soft?
-
It must just cut the spark for a millisecond to let it go into the next gear. I think superbikes use something like that.
trolling at 90 in 5th gear in left lane on 35W South in construction zoneGet caught in Pa doing that and the cops will throw away the key!
-
Oh, BTW, didn't you know that PC's didn't really do anything after all....
Yea, didn't someone say that it made the bike slower too?
-
it gets easier every time I do it.
Now that is the truth.

I have changed a million car spark plugs but I also had the hardest time getting the boots off of the plugs the first time. I think most of the reason is because the the cross bar is right in the way. Can't get your hand down where it needs to be. I ended up wrapping a piece of string under the boot and pulling upward.

Let us know if you can tell the difference with the advancer if you do it only. If you jet it and the advancer at the same time, you will never know which one is giving you the power.
Got my battery...
