Where do you take it to have the accuracy checked?

I don't know about Virginia, but in Pa, motorcycles and diesels are exempted from the testing.

AutoZone was out of the old Red Cap and only stocked the new Gold Cap.
Dude, you are in so much trouble now. You my's well junk it or sell it quick. Hurry. I'll give you a $100 for it. It will be fine.

I have never heard of one.

Man Warchild, that set-up looks good.

You don't think all the wheelies you guys are always talking about causes notched bearings do you :?: :?: :?:

Early birds suffered from a tight spot in the harness that would rub on the frame causing some shorts,
Where about on the harness was the tight spot? My bike don't have any trouble but if I knew where to look, maybe I could prevent it from happening.

I figured they would worm out of it somehow.
They did that with me one time (and last time) with a tire for my Wing.
Their add said it had raised black letters on the tire and other add that was cheeper didn't say anything. They wouldn't give me the price. So I ordered them from the other place and it did have the RBL.

That is great Pete. I never thought of using the wood blocks. Like they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.

have you tried raising your stock bars first?
Here is a stupid question, if you lower your bike with the fork tubes, are your bars higher in relation to the bike?
Sorry about the highjack.

I take it has full sleeves. Is it very thick? In other words, would you need a bigger leather jacket to wear this under?

Johannesburg, South Africa
Man, there are people from EVERYWHERE on this board. Great!!!

By the way schnitzracing mixed my shipping and billing address.
They billed me two months in a row for the same product but they was good about fixing it though.

Since the 208's superceded the 207's, would it cause a problem to mount the 207 front with the 208 rear?
Nope. That is what was on my bike until yesterday. Now going with 014 Bridgestone front & rear.

At Wal-Mart tonight I saw that Mobil 1 has a new 15-50w out. It had a gold cap. I wonder if it has any nasty crap in it for our bikes? Maybe on their web site it might tell us something. It was $23 something.
I just went to their site and here is what is says: What is the difference between Mobil 1® Extended Performance and the currently available Mobil 1?
Mobil 1 Extended Performance formulas are designed specifically for today's longer service intervals and are guaranteed to protect for up to 15,000 miles or one year.
Mobil 1 Extended Performance has a unique formulation with boosted level of protection and performance. These formulations with the Advanced SuperSyn System contain 50 percent more SuperSyn, 36 percent more anti-wear additives, and 37 percent more cleaning agents than the current Mobil 1.

I was trying to find a alloy sprocket with steel teeth but have not been having much luck
Yea, I gave up. On the sidewinder site, I think you have to call them to order. Chaparral and others had them listed and when I called, they don't carry them anymore. One thing I just can't figure out and really burns my buns is, why do they make steel sprockets in 45 and less teeth BUT they don't make 46 or more. What is so hard about adding one more tooth? 44 but not 46.

I had a 85 GT Mustang that I put a full exhaust system on (headers to tailpipes) and it would backfire when you backed off the gas. I removed the smogpump (air pump) and it stopped. I'm thinking it's lean.

The 15-50 was still on the shelf at $22.42.
Last week it was $22.42 Last night it was $19.97.

I wanted to know if there was a Honda rim that uses a 190 tire
The 1000RR has a 6" rim with a 190. Don't know if it will fit the XX though.

Rich, how does your Yosh full system compare to the slip-on Yosh in the sound department?

Mobil 1, this petrolium/synthetic blend
I just looked at the front of a Mobil 1 bottle and it says that it is Fully Synthetic.

Nik, ride around in fifth gear. That's about what it feels like. If I rode alot of highway miles, I would stay stock.

Not on my bike. Carbs work great.
That's what I think too. Always hearing about troubles with FI bikes while the carbed bikes just keep on running.

Thanks Dr. Joe.

A good while ago, this was argued to death on here. I think it started when someone wanted to start a group buy or something. If you want the most bang for the buck, it is hard to beat NOS. IMHO.
