SOLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here’s some info on the Blackbird. It's the 2000 model year, Titanium color scheme. Bone stock enginewise except for a few light cosmetic mods. Just some cleaner signals and license mount. Quick release seat cable. Scorpion exhausts(great tone). Tinted windscreen. It has 28,6XX rather tender miles. The PO, also a mechanic, took sweet care of this machine. When I got it didn't have scratch on it. It does have a few flaws from me but only cosmetic. All services were performed with the manufacturer recommendations in the full service manual. All other service items have been addressed(recorded in maintenance log: my maintenance appended with the PO’s) and found to be consistent with excellent working condition. Chain is new and sprockets are good. Oil is fresh. Brake pads are good(I replaced the fronts when I got it). Coolant has recently been fully flushed(radiator and engine). Avon Storm tires have 1800 on em' with tons of life left. Full service manual in .pdf format. There are some cosmetic flaws from one low speed tipover. Low speed!!! Let's just say this throttle was respected after such event and it was full realization of what kind of power this bike has. Nothing even in the same ballpark as the 650 dualsport I was used to. That was right when I got it at 23,000 miles. It resulted in some scratches on the left fairings, peg, and the left exhaust. Not bad at all and if you see it in person(or the pics), you’ll see what I mean. They were minor enough and didn’t detract enough for me to get it all newed up again. I don’t abuse my machines. I follow all maintenance recommendations. I don’t do tricks, well, cause I can't. But, no point in having a garage queen. Since then, the bike has been flawless. I enjoyed many miles in between that incident and now but I realize it’s just too much bike for me, plus I am going to start moving regularly for my job and can’t make two trips every time I move. I haven't ridden it much lately. Just keeping it on the battery tender and keeping the gas cycled with some miles for circulation. Come take a look. Rides available with asking price cash deposit. Bike is for sale in the market forum Howdy, My bird fell out of the sky the other day thanks to a tourist who has forgotten how to brake ahead of time for a turn and who apparently isn't a big fan of turn signals. Thankfully, it was mostly cosmetic. One stator cover later and she's purring again, but this isn't a stunt bike yet so I gotta pretty her back up. If you have a lower left fairing I will take it. This sustained most of the damage along with my mirror. The mirror internals are OK, but the casing, lens, and glass are mangled so I guess the easiest way is the get a whole mirror if ya' be having one. Obviously the Titanium color would be ideal, but I will take any because I have to get a few other body parts painted anyway. Just PM me. I'm new here, but have a good rep(I think) at ADVrider.com. I also do a lot of dirt riding. But anyway just tell which part ya' got and how much you want for it. I'm quick with the paypal. Lemme know folks. icon_biggrin.gif
