iam installing race tech 1.0 springs. the new springs are longer than the stock, do i just cut the spacer so the total length of the old spring and spacer is the same length as the new spring and spacer. thanks scott s. xx

getting ready to put the bird back together and i noticed that upper mount for the upper fering stay is cracked on both verticle sides. having a hard time finding someone that can weld aluminum. is this something i should be real concerened about? any input would be greatly appreciated.

how important is it to change the fork oil when you install new springs?

i change both so i sleep better. i also change the oil every 1500-2000 go figure.

and plenty of spare shock fluid. .. . I got out for a romp yesterday as the sun was finally out this weekend in Seattle. While doing a post ride inspection, ran my fingers along the preload line on my Wilbers and it came away with fluid on it. Both ends at the fitting are weeping. Gonna wrench them tonight to see if I can snug em up a bit. If not, I guess I'll call Klaus. db guess i won't be buying a wilber!!!!

i have a 01 been rebulding so road it naked a few times.i saw no differance in performance from 0-100.the ram air hits at high speed by pressurising the air box and you get a mild supercharging effect.i have read that ram air on a carbed bird delivers to much air.

do any other rotors fit a bird?want to get wavy, but the new wheels are killing me.want to save some money on the rotors.

i want to put wavy roters on the new wheels. do i order stock bird size?

i use dino oil changed every 2000-2500 miles.when you change it that often i don't think it matters what brand oil you use. scott s.

just put a led under tail on the bird,the blinkers flash like crazy.what relay do i need to return it to normal. if i leave it like it is will the increased flash rate reduce the life of the stock relay? thanks scott s. xx
