  1. VSS is the speed sensor wire hookups.
  2. Was looking/waiting for something like this... thanks much! :icon_clap:
  3. I'm sleepin at the switch over here. Just noticed you're back on a Bird. What the hell happened to the Fizzer?? Oh & Stan, your garage is pimp!! Hey Troy! ZZZzzzzzzz... I'm currently reviewing the two of them side-by-side for NASA, it's classified...
  4. How long did it take for accelerate to kick in normally, before the pvc...? On my 1 ( ), test ride with mine, I am thinking I needed to press and hold Accel for about 3 seconds to get 1 mph change. Another thought, maybe if the VSS was hooked up, it will accelerate 1mph per button push vs. ~50rpm per 1sec of button push. (??)
  5. The third pic shows the water line bolt I used through the provided bracket. I didn't cut the bracket, but bent it twice so that it would stand up and out a little bit to make the straight line to the throttle without interfering on the bolt head. I fixed the last picture I think, the servo is mounted in front of the shock, under the gas tank. I wanted to avoid taking away from underseat storage.
  6. Cruuuuuuisee control! Does that mean I'm getting old?? Here's a couple key locations that I used to install the Audiovox CCS-100 cruise control. Took her out for a test run and wow... this system is very smooth! Glad to have it in for future long distance slabbing. Throttle Connection: Beaded Chain Location: Cable Mount: Servo Unit:
  7. Starting is 10A, running is 3.2A... or 35W running (vs. 55W). Not noticeable to the rider, the ballast gets very hot but is tucked behind the dash, the bulb is well... I don't know, it's in the housing. But works great nonetheless! No melting etc.
  8. ... Thanks for the compliment! Search "H7 HID" on ebay, there are a number sellers there. I got the one that was bragging $65.99. Came from Hong Kong DHL in 3 days just as stated.
  9. HID lighting is worth every penny spent. And the price for a H7 kit (include two bulbs/ballasts) is now $65 to your door. ...soooo, here you go, for the non-believers, if there are any of you left that is, :icon_shifty: Stock low beam H7: HID 4300K low beam H7:
  10. Say, Jammin, your ad didn't last long on the .com site huh... lol :icon_snooty: Nice setup btw.
  11. You're welcome. Hey Tom, It was your recent VFR thread that I found this answer to when searching lol...!
  12. Mentioned and done. Oppps, skimming again.
  13. No one has mentioned Seafoam yet... search on that.
  14. A pair of BT-021 can be had for the best price at chaparral-racing.com right now, $126 + $97... I got free shipping as I ordered other items also so you may or may not depending if they have a tire "clause" on their free shipping offer. A stickier front combo is good with BT-021 rear and BT-014 up front... similar to the Z6/M1 combo.
  15. Ok, sound slike my '99 has the stock r/r then.... thanks much!
  16. Ok thanks, I'm going to pass... appreciate it.
  17. Kevin, What condition is the hugger in? Cracks/scratches etc? Is it black? I guess I should email then huh... mmmmk.
  18. Yeah, I was reading briefly on the VFR too, sound like that got a bum deal at first, then Honda switched to a little better one they claimed. Thanks Justin! Hmmm, that sounds weird. lol. Anyone else get fins like this on their '99, or any year for that matter?
  19. You got one yet bud?? What are you waiting for??
  20. "$4,500.00 DYMAG MAGNESIUM RIMS" :icon_eek: :icon_eek:
  21. As much as that would help... , I think I'm covered now... thanks man!
  22. I haven't check the left bar for any kinks, but it seems ok from my memory at the moment. The bars were installed already but the right was installed incorrectly so I was fixing that. I think I'll double check the clutch side now too.
