Sure looks like it to me.

OK, so what is the deal about removing the front tire on the XX? Any good tips/procedure that you would like to share?? Thanks Mark S.

No, still sitting in the garage.

14,950 New Rear tire put on last year, so it's got about 2,000 miles on it. Front tire in good shape Original chain, seems to be in good condition Battery was new about a year ago, had it on my Battery Tender for the winter.

Going to sell my 2002 XX. I'll get the miles on her tonight and update this post. It has a power outlet plug in the dash that takes a BMW style power plug, and a magnetic tank bag for it also. I also have brand new cam chain tensioner for it still in the box. Just did a oil change using Amsoil full synthetic. More pictures to come later tomorrow. I'm in the North East Ohio area, east of Cleveland. Asking $6,000 for it.

The only thing that gets plugged in while the bike is moving is my V1, and I've never had an issue with anything hitting the plug.

Got a picture?

Got a picture? I'll take one when I get home and post it tomorrow.

I bought one of these kits http://www.powerletproducts.com/product/lo...cket-kit-12/164 I then bought a hole-saw for the kit. I mounted it on the lower left hand side of the black panel. It's very easy to remove to drill it for the outlet. My battery tender along with my V1 both have the BMW style plug, so it was a match made in heaven.

What model of Pitt Bull front end stand is that? I've got a rear Pitt Bull stand set up for bobbins, so all I would need to do is change that out for the type you have on yours. Thanks Mark S.

Well come spring it will be time for a new front tire. Please school me on how YOU remove your front tire. Any tips on getting the front tire off the ground is what I'm really looking for. Thanks Mark S.

+1 For the San-Ran. Was there last October, very nice people operating it.

Got a flat on the way home from work. Got the XX over at the inlaws house. So what size is the rear axle nut? Need to gather tools to take off the rear tire. Thanks Mark

High, got a 2002 XX, and need to get power up to the front of the bike for my radar detector. Bought a panel style Powerlet plug, and was going to put it in the front panel that is under the instrument cluster. Any other places that might be a better choice. Just a little concerned with clearance behind that panel, there seems to be enough, but I want to be sure before drilling a hole in it. Thanks Mark S.

Has anybody done this, rotating the plates to lower the seat height?
-
Anybody use the Odyssey battery in the XX?? Thanks Mark S.

Thanks everyone. I'm new to this bike. Learned much about my BMW on Forums much like this. Very valuable info here, thanks. Mark S.
