  1. It's like watching "Trading Spaces", with no Paige Davis. Kick Ass house. After all that work, why move?
  2. If I recall Paully told me something about not leaving accessory plugs "powered" up when not used. (I leave the cigarette lighter cord to my GPS plugged in under my seat. The little LED light draws so little power, and I always have it hooked to my Battery Tender. When I remember, I try to unplug it.) The being said, I believe Paully said this practice can frag your regulator? However, my battery is definitely toast, and I'll be looking for a battery. Just wondering how many of you religously unplug your cigarette lighter plugs? I've had the same batter for about 4 years, and suspect it may be the OEM unit. I've found using the Battery Tender extended the useful life of my batteries. (As previously it used to seem I always bought a new battery every year).
  3. Joe literally sucked my headlight out!
  4. That has to be one of the most cool photo tutorials I've ever seen. Outstanding work. I think for the money, I might just opt to buy the VTECH bars. So far, I'm still running stock. Cal has some of the Two Brothers bars, look really slick too.
  5. Migs, too bad they don't exist anymore.

Howie's bike is dead sexy. Howie, nice seeing you up on the board. Had a blast with you and Hugo in Monterey.
  7. Funny how much we think alike. I did the same thing with my 'bird when installing the Migs. The other night I rode the Super Hawk with no cans on it. Talk about loud.
  8. Sounds good. I only paid $20.00 for the 954RR shock.
  9. Great pics. Still trying to figure out how to install the CBR954RR shock I bought.
  10. Radiator hose clamps, for that ghetto look.
  11. ABSOLUTELY. Way more felt torque. Front wheel jumps off the ground on wide open launches in 1st gear.

Kiernan made me wait about 8 months for a Corbin seat, (of course they billed my c.c. the day I ordered it.) To Kiernan's credit, Corbin does move slower than frozen pond water.
  13. Sounds like junkyard wars.
  14. Odd. I haven't noticed anything, yet. I replaced the upper fairing on my 1998 'bird with an upper from a 2002 'bird. Actually tried, (not very hard) to reinstall the screens. The 1999 and newer fairings don't have the tabs to attach them to.
  15. Sell it! The 2000 is my favorite colour.
  16. Shit, your two screen names are fucking confusing. Just fingered out who each of you were. Dammit.
  17. After letting the cable end exit the left, tail exaust vent, I zip tied it to the frame grab rail. Works great. Forget the lock.
  18. I do the same, one arm rotation thing. But the tool looks cool. Especially for those with no biceps.
  19. What is a "quick link"? :???:
  20. I bought a 954 shock, but don't know what I should do next? :???:
  21. Well, For starters, if you want to save your silver 2002 tank, the 1997 and 1998 carb birds (not FI) are out of the question. The 1999 and newer bikes have a bigger tank due to the addition of FI. Speaking from experience, I have interchanged silver plastics on a black 1998 model, it can be done. But, you need to learn more about the interchagability characteristics, and the challenges they pose. For example, I have a 2002, silver nose cone on my bike, however my bike does not have ram air. If you want to know more, let me know.
