FWIW, I put 4 "Quick Links" on my bungee studs and IMO improved my bungee connections for a recent long trip. The link size is 3/16 and once on they will not come off (Unless you unscrew them and take them off.) I got them at "Lowes" (Home Improvement). I put some tape on them to protect my finish. I did it because I recently had a bungee come off of the stock studs.

I dunno. Doesn't look like the brake lines/brackets are getting hit. It may be the left chrome guard getting into the horn wiring. I'm pretty sure that the rest of the advice I got is from people who are more familiar with Allstate Motorscooters than Blackbirds though.

Since installing SuperBrace, when I hit a particularly stiff bump, my horn beeps. And, if I hit a mild bump while I am on the front brake, the horn beeps. It's just a short beep and I guess I could live with it but I don't think I want to. Any quick cures out there, that don't involve cutting the wires to the horn?

my dishwasher has been making this godawful noise like it's grinding up something in the fucking door still washes the dishes i don't think it's gonna last any comments? that might help?

My neighborhood is situated on a lake. My house is about 100 yards from the lake and I'm telling this guy (friend) how I'd like to have a boat, something lightweight, to screw around on the lake, take my dog out etc. Anywya he gives me this boat. Not new. 12 foot, aluminum. It is kinda ragged and the bottom back seam needs repair. Looks like it was dragged around on pavement. Anyway I'm not set up for welding aluminum (although running a bead along this seam is what it needs) So, what do I fix this with? How? Also, what kinda paint do I use to paint this thing?

I apologize for what I imagine is an old issue. (Just bought a 99 XX) Should I switch to the newer plug that Honda started using in the 2001 models???? Positives?/negatives?

Well, I ordered a Givi today based on the dimensions and various comments on this board. I'll see how it work out for me.

Looked thru old threads etc and can't seem to find what I am looking for. I am looking for the windshield that provides the most protection. Found a thread about an MRA touring screen made in Germany that looks good but the pics don't make it clear if it provides more protection than the Givi? Any comments on the biggest screen/most protection out there for sale? (I already have a dark tinted Cheetah that is IMO, the best looking but I am gonna need more protection to ride to Phoenix at Thanksgiving)

I just bought a 99XX that already had higher handlebars installed (Look like Heli-bars). The clutch line gets pretty tight at times - has anybody you guys know of ever worn a hole in or ruptured that line in this situation?

I came over here a little while ago looking for a XX. Anyway I made an offer on one today and will see how it works out. But, to the point. Are there kits for changing the peg location? I didn't see any in the "mods" section.
