I just wanted to take a moment to reiterate what a pos business this is. May they go out of business and starve. Rude fuckers. Keep in mind my dealing with them was a few years ago. I have posted about them on the previous boards but havent bothered to on this one...until now. Fuck them. They are complete dicks and I am not the only one I've heard of them being completely rude to for no reason. I think Ill go see if I can find my orginal email about them from years ago.

My bro-in-law has the VH SS2 on his 1000F. Im not sure if its a 4-2-1 or a 4-1 but I am sure that its loud. It sounds good...just too much volume for me. As for the Yosh I would be very surprised if its anywhere close to loud if its a Zyclone. I have dual Yoshs and they are really quiet. I've had it described as going from barely audible while cruising to sounding like an Indy Car when I wind it out.

Chaparral is who I always used before SWMoto. Service with them was excellent and shipping was fast and prices are good. They usually had the tires here within a few days. One time I did have some glitch with my card though and they didn't bother to call and tell me so I was waiting around for tires that never showed. The only real bitch I have about them is their website is ass. Ironically I also had a glitch with SWMoto...my credit union sucks...and he called me and told me within minutes...got it worked out and the tires were here in couple days. I like that...sorta small business attention to detail.

Put the new ones on so you can have fun and don't have to worry. That plug could get you killed...or worse inconvenience me. If they don't come in in time...don't worry about it. Just ride on the plug. They are perfectly safe. There is nothing to worry about. :grin:

I know its hard to pry your eyes away from that matrix implant they put on the blinker...but check out the brake lever.

Don't worry Don...Im sure someone...somewhere has done somthing even dumber than that. :twisted: I always use my kill switch to turn the bike off. No real reason other than I just do. I guess a side benefit is that if Carlos or Don ever tries to steal my bike they will eventually give up trying to start it and move on. :twisted:

To correct your (perceived) vibration the easiest thing to do is to ride a different bike for a while. Then when you get back on the XX you will realize that you have just become spoiled.

Going to the 520 is a GREAT idea. I mean damn...if I could save two whole pounds I think that would make all the difference in the world. I've been having trouble carrying enough speed thru the twisties to drag my fairing and I think the 520 would help me there. Also it would help me spin up the somewhat anemic motor a little faster. Granted I could take a shit before riding...or leave my tankbag full of tire kit, phone, "special hardware", mp3 player etc at home and save more than two pounds...but thats different...I think the chain is the answer.

Since pretty much everything has already been covered... One thing I like about my '99 is that I can let it sit in the garage for weeks (not very often) and then wheel it out and just touch the start button for a second and it fires right up. No dicking with choke/fast idle whatever. I'm not saying the carbed models are hard to start as I have no idea...its just so nice to have it start like a car.

Man that H.A.R.D. system looks awesome. You are right its a bit pricey...and Im not to keep on installing stuff on the inside of my helmet but I would sure love to have a setup like that.

You are correct...it was like a 5 min job...took me a bit longer since I had to look around for a piece of tubing. The damn master had some nice gunk in it. I was able to suck the old shit out with a syringe/baster thingie from the kitchen. Thanks Carlos.

Anyone have the link to the article on cbr1100xx.org that pertains to changing the clutch fluid. I looked but couldnt find it. It doesnt actually have to be the one on cbr1100xx either...need to change out my murky brown fluid and although I think its pretty straightforward I want to make sure Im not forgetting anything before I get started.
