  1. Honda Motor Co. Ltd. has pronounced a campaign for checking the Proportioning Control Valve (PCV-valve) in the Dual CBS brakes, because there have been reports about leakage in the valve. The purpose of the valve is to adjust the pressure between front and rear brake when the rear brake is used. If the valve leaks, it makes the rear brake powerless, but does not affect the front brake because it has independent brake circuit.
  2. Here's couple of Helibar vs. stock handlebar pictures for you. (notice the elegant protective towel) Removing tabs from clutch and brake master cylinders wasn't that hard, but remember to protect the lines properly to avoid accident. I think I still have to loosen the throttle cable a bit, because it feels quite tight on full left turn. I hoped the riding position would be more upright, but time will tell whether this modification helped or not. Now I just have to wait for the spring. 3. Thanks for everybody for good advices! Because I still have warranty for two years, I’m not that willing to go for the “search for error codes” mission. I bet my dealer, although they couldn’t help me when I asked about this issue, wouldn’t be too happy to see if I broke something… maybe not willing to repair it for free… But if the PGM-FI light should glow if there is something wrong, I keep on observing the situation and ride straight to my dealer if it starts to glow again. Regards, Mustarastas
  4. The PGM-FI light started to glow after I washed my bird. The light kept on glowing for whole few kilometer ride and three times of five engine starts after the ride. When I headed back to home after few hours the light didn't glow anymore. To the question Does the PGM-FI light glow all the time when there is some problem and go out when problem is solved or does it glow for a while just to notify the rider and then disappear? Just wondering if there was something (maybe short circuit due washing the bike) or is there still something wrong. Regards, - Mustarastas
