Yes. I believe it only fits the stock screens. I've been riding with it for about 10,000km on a regular basis. Both in town and out on the road. Yesterday I took the lip off and went for a 400km, 150 to 180kph rip around the country side. For the fast blasts I prefer the lip on. It noticably reduces the upper body wind blast but still leaves enough to hold you off your wrists. As mentioned earlier it is easy to mount and dismount (with out loctite). I prefer it to the Givi screen.
