    Rotor Bolts

Yep, that's the ticket! It looks like I have to join the UK forum cause Pro-Bolt gives them a 10% discount

    Rotor Bolts

Locktite aside, I was under the impression these were a stressed fastener. Plus the fact that I'm going with gold fittings on the new lines I wanted to see if anybody knew of any bling options

    Rotor Bolts

Once I get my new ABM rotors (Thank you Dale) I'll need to replace the rotor bolts. Anyone have any thoughts, opinions or experience with other than OEM bolts? Sources?
  4. I came across this guy from an intercom thread here. I bought a Starcom1 from him off Ebay shipped for less than the street price. He's got good prices, fast/cheap shipping, no bullshit handling charges and great communication. He had no problem mixing and matching headsets for me. Now I just have to get around to installing the system. If you're looking for a Starcom at a fair price with quality service drop Keith a line http://corsastrada.com/index.html
  5. Expensive but a good place to steal some ideas from.. www.zorstec.net
  6. I just ordered the Shure E2's and have pretty much decided on the Starcom1. The next trick is to see if I can get the jabra A210 to link the phone to the Starcom without a wire.
  7. How bout a couple of these? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...4528231598&rd=1
  8. You could make these work. http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/Product...-ZX/appId-43613
  9. Here's a guy that put one on an FJR. Obviously a different bike but the concept is the same http://www.micapeak.com/bike/FJR1300/howto...o/audiovox.html
  10. Sweet! I didn't know that Canadians typed with an accent too. ROFL!
  11. You can always spend some $$$ http://www.rccomponents.com/wheels.jsp?cat...&img=wheels.jpg
  12. :fingerflip: Is it time for NEXXT yet? I'm getting antsy.
  13. Didn't know that John, I thought John sold the upgraded version. Being the cheap bastard that I am it isn't so much a question of from who or which one but more a cost/benefit. Mine still has the original CCT and didn't start rattlin till around 26K right after NEXXT. So I was wondering if the extra money for the X11 version was worth it. Hey, wait a miute, It started right after NEXXT?????? God damn it!!!! It's your fault Joe!!!! You owe me a new CCT fucker!!! :poke:
  14. Looking for some thoughts on the CCT. The bike has approx 27k and the CCT needs changing. I can order from Jaws for 43pounds($85+shipping) or from the local dealer for $35. Is there that big of a difference? Is the OEM version preloaded or is this something I need to do during install? Post up gents
  15. I'd say if you're concerned about wear then you need to take a look at it and see what kinda of shape it's in.
  16. How bout here? http://www.partmonster.com/bird/xxpartspage.htm
  17. I don't know if anyone has seen these yet but while looking for a preice on a CCT I came across these http://www.jaws-motorcycles.co.uk/bird2.htm
  18. Oh and welcome to the board Brian
  19. On the back of the headlight assembly are two plastic thumbscrews. The upper left is for vertical adjustment and the lower right is for horzontal. Look at the sticky up above and download the "Not Automatic" file. This should help answer any questions
  20. You really don't need to convert them Scott. It's pretty easy to figure out the conversion from kph to mph, When you see five cops in your mirrors with their lights flashing and a helicopter overhead you're going slightly faster than 55mph and when that green stuff in the radiator starts spitting out under the bike that means the coolant is somewhere above 212 degrees F. (how the hell do you spell Fahrenheit) Hope this helps  :poke: :poke: Actually I don't know if there is some sort of switch or whether it would need to be or even can reprogrammed.
  21. It should make it harder, and require more weight for a dealer also. Is this true of the Road also? FWIW, I have a sport on the front and had the shop pull the weights, break it down and balance without wt. by spinning the rubber on the rim then balance for wts. and ended up dropping almost an ounce.
  22. Anybody tried this one? http://catalog.kiernanracing.com/viewProdu...904&showPic=Yes
  23. Just scarfed one of these off Ebay for 135.00 Does the same and more. http://www.powerstands.com/acb/showdetl.cf...ct_ID=7&CATID=1
  24. I here you Tim, That's why I did a compare on the Ohlins site and put a call into Traxxion before I bid. The guy says it's 12 3/4 to 13 3/4 eye to eye Ohlins site says 10mm shorter (so I leave the shim in) springs a given but I've got a local guy that'll respring it and keep the old spring so there's a break on the price. Damping yeah but depending on the price I should still come in under the cost of a new one. And wouldn't this compare closer to a Penske double click then the sport? Worst case I'll have put a 900RR in the garage to fit it
  25. so I've been planning on upgrading the suspension this winter and was gonna do the forks first but something came up. Being the cheap bastard that I am I was thinking about going the 900 shock route, a lot cheaper than the Ohlins. But then I came across this and decided to split the difference. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...item=4510950695 What do ya think?
