  1. What are your bodily dimentions? height, torso length, sleeve length, etc.. That way I could reference the comfort level expected from those risers. . Just under 5'10", medium shirt, 16" X 32/33" dress shirt, 40" chest, 30" waist, 32" pant inseam.
  2. Does anyone have experience with the handle bar risers available from Twisted Throttle? http://www.twistedthrottle.com/trade/productview/2958/93/ On the plus side, no new lines. On the minus, the rise is only 3/4" - I'm not sure it would help that much.
  3. I've used the Throttlemeister set-up on other bikes, but would like to try the Kaoko on my new-to-me 'bird. Anyone have experience? Feedback, please.
  4. 2004 Honda CB600F 599 Hornet in Asphalt, 19,XXX miles, well-maintained (maintenance record available), in very good condition mechanically and cosmetically, with tasteful, functional and valuable accessories. Newer battery, chain and sprockets, and tires. Reasonably priced (the average of KBB Trade-In and Retail, plus 50% of Retail on accessories and parts). (KBB Retail $4,160 + KBB Trade-In $2,855) / 2 = $3,508. These figures assume an average 19,400 miles, which is almost exactly the mileage on this example. 50% of the Retail for the accessories and parts = $1,180 (detail below). Total = $3,508 + $1,180 = $4,688. The buyer can choose all, none, or some of the accessories and parts to vary the price. Plus, if you have a rational and reasonable offer, I'll certainly listen and negotiate. Accessories and parts include: Honda wind screen, Retail $100, With Bike $50 Throttlemeister cruise control, Retail $117, With Bike $59 (Note: original bar ends included in the sale) GSG-Moto Framesliders (left and right), Retail $100, With Bike $50 GSG-Moto Case Protector, Retail $50, With Bike $25 (Note: original case cover included in the sale) SW-Motech Centerstand, Retail $180, With Bike $90 Ohlins HO 541 shock, top-of-the-line, completely adjustable (including height), Retail $921, With Bike $461 (Note: original shock is included in the sale) SW-Motech Quick-Lock Sideracks with Givi Sidecase Adaptor Kit, Retail $250, With Bike $125 (Note: Givi sidecases and siderack locks pictured are NOT INCLUDED in the sale) SW-Motech Alu-rack Toprack, Retail $145, With Bike $73 (Note: Givi adapter plate and topcase pictured are NOT INCLUDED in the sale, and the original grab bar and hardware ARE included in the sale) Givi TN368 Crashbars, never mounted, Retail $117, With Bike $59 (Note: conflicts with the SW-Motech center stand, but provides best protection when mounted with only the side stand) Galfer Stainless Steel Brakelines, Front and Rear, new in packages, Retail $143, With Bike $72 (Note: original brakelines are in fine condition, these replacements are for much later on) Owners manual and tool kit, no charge Extra, original seat, Retail $120, With Bike $60 (Note: nice to have if you want a second seat to be worked over by Sargent or a similar shop) Extra, original rear fender, chopped, Retail $26, no charge Extra, original swing arm stickers, no charge Miscellaneous maintenance items (four new spark plugs, never-used ColorRite Touch-up Pen, new coolant drain bolt, new and various washers, and OEM Honda service manual), $112 Retail, $56 With Bike A few "Bike" (UK) magazines with information on the 600 Hornet, no charge All documentation from all owners, no charge The "bad?" Slight scratches and marks, the worst of which is on the left tank. This can be improved using the aforementioned touch-up pen. No dings nor dents. Nice! If the motorcycle doesn't sell in a week or so, I'll start selling certain accessories separately for 30% off the retail price, shipping CONUS included. Please inquire.

  6. I just spent the better part of the day replacing the spark plug, replacing the Y-pipe, washing and polishing the 'moto, cleaning and lubing the chain, and adjusting the fuel mixture and idle. This bike needs nothing. The first person to put $4,000 in my hand takes her.
  7. 2002 KTM Duke II Adrenaline Orange with 9,550 miles in the Phoenix, Arizona area, will trade toward an excellent, one owner 2000 (titanium), 2002 (silver) or 2003 (last year, black) Honda CBR1100XX Blackbird. THE FIRST PERSON TO PUT $4,000 IN MY HAND TAKES HER! Original adult owner, purchased new in June 2003. 600 mile service by Phoenix International Motorsports (PIM) in August 2003, 3,000 mile service by PIM in May 2004, oil service in July 2005, replaced original front and rear rotors with wave rotors in May 2006, oil service in November 2006, new Yuasa battery in December 2006, and new KTM front and rear sprockets (rear is the Stealth sprocket) and chain (orange Z-ring) in October 2007. In addition, coolant replaced twice, rear brake line bled twice, and other minor maintenance performed. Good Pirelli Dragon on the front, and a very fresh Pirelli Diablo is on the rear. A few "cool" scratches (wink) and some small rock chips on the front mask, and light scratches on the end of the front brake lever and on the end of the right footpeg (from a very low speed drop in the dirt, the only time the moto was down). Includes the KTM tank bag with rain cover, the original owner's package and tool kit, the KTM LC4 Repair Manual, an extra clutch cable, a soft KTM motorcycle cover, many spare parts, and stack of KTM brochures and catalogs. Plus, all documentation since new. The Duke is a blast on the street, and a very good track bike. I have a 18 month old son, however, and don't have time to ride two motorcycles. The 599 best matches the minimal riding I am able to do at this time, so the Duke is ready to give another rider great thrills! If you don't have a street Supermoto in your garage, you're missing out. Arai XD Orange Storm Medium available separately upon sale of the Duke II, $425. Worn approximately twenty times, with skull cap to keep dirt and oil off of the liner. A few small marks on the top, you have to look closely for them. Comes with clear and dark shields, helmet bag, and original box, documentation and parts.
