Did you feel the Hyperpro springs improved the fork or at all or make it perform worse? The hyperpro springs made a big difference when i did the install myself, with the 2.5oz oil. had the stealer do fork oil change at the begining of the summer, and they put in 5oz oil. they did'not have 2.5 and i could'nt wait for it tobe ordered. had a trip coming up.the 5oz oil in'st working aswell. i just want more adjustabilty. yeah iam going to a full tiforce titanium. BTW, I'm not sure the Birds fork is the weakest link, it works pretty well if in order and combined with good tyres. What I may consider being the weakest link (regarding handling), is the weight of the bike. But not to the degree that it limits the use in any way except for competitive lap times on track. If premium handling on track is the goal, it’s better to have one more bike for that purpose.

Well its time to put the bird away. so with that done, i want to do a couple mod's. (1). tiforce full titanium exhaust. (2). hugger.(3).air box mod(4).full front fork swap. what i need help with. what are all the parts i will need, to swap out the bird forks? To replace them with the hayabusa forks. i heard the 954 and 929 will swap out aswell, but the differents in the bikes weight, i dont think the 954 or 929's are the way togo. the busa is closer to the birds weight,so thats why i want to go that route. can anyone who has done this swap,and have a parts list,please chime in thanks. wanna get rid of the weakest link. i have hyperpro springs on now.

i will give that a go. my manual is confusing to look at when it come's to the coil wire's, seated on the bike and looking down at the wire's i see, 2 bu/y 3 bl/w 1y/bu 4bl/w thanks as always. 'rockmeupto125' Thanks joe! worked fine, fired right up afterwards.

ok here's what i did. i installed the pair system blockoff plates. that went ok. i then noticed (ol'boy) my fuel injecter stacks were dirty,so i sprayed crab injecter fuild in them to clean. after putting it all back together, bike will not start. it run's for a second then backfires, (nice flame's lol') i think it maybe the carb fuild and or the plugs are now bad. any one had this problem after spraying fuild to clean fi ?

this 18t sounds like a good mod. i have a speedo healer, but would like to try a 18t. since theres no real chance, in acceleration. but i'am wondering, Do'es honda have a 18t with damper and if so, from which bike year, or year's can we use?

why both ? well since the stator is fried, i want to be sure i have no more problems right away, so i'am going to replace both,for peace of mind. thanks toxxic for looking out! that one is a after market and the ad said it's for 97-98 and i want oem. but thanks

jumped the fuel pump, it works. checked all the relays. they worked. i used them all in place of the headlight relay, plug connection. looking in the manual, only two of the relays are the same,so i dont know why they work.when i use the fuel cut relay where it belongs, all i get are clicks when i hit the on-off switch. well i"ll keep on searching for the fix. maybe order another relay for the helluv"it.

the connector and fuses are good. so how do i power up the pump?

i only replaced the wiring harness back to stock. i didnot try to install the alarm. i now have the problem of not hearing the fuel pump run when i hit the switch. when i hit the switch i only hear a click coming from the relay switch.

well to start, this is about me installing a remote starter/alarm. well i tried to get some help with the install and i got a couple maybe's. so i brought me a spare wire harness, just in case. well i needed it after all. so i r/r everything and then notice that my stator wire was burnt at the regulator. so i cut and spliced the three wire together. (note this was on the original wire harness) before r/r with new one.when i was installing the alarm/remote i did blow some fuses, the alarm worked fine, i couldnot figure out the remote wire so i believe they where blowing the fuses because i was of course putting them to the wrong wire connections. anyway after installing the new harness and turning the key on.all light's come on, but when i hit the switch on button, the fi light go's off the oil light stay's on. the fuel pump has no sound coming from it. i can hit the on-off switch and only hear the relay click on and off as i do it. i replaced all the relays. i know the only thing left is the fuel pump.(maybe). any thoughts! anyone have this problem? oh yeah the pump was working before replacing harness

sounds like, the problem i had, when my wiring loom started to let me know. corrosion was building up, before it started to shut down, on me on a consistent basis. search loom on this site for more help.

not yet. iam about to do some mod's now. since it's the off season i will have time to install it completely. i had all but the remote starter hooked up, then removed it so i could still ride. installing pc2,puig screen, speed'o healer,hugger,battery tender, glow gauges,dunlop 208'sand accessory plug. will let you know. i tried to post pic's of my bike having no luck at all with that.

that number is,one of two. the 14610 will work. if you can get, it on. but this filter is longer than stock. which hits the header pipe of my 99. no my header pipe is not bent. the filter. 14612 is the same size as stock.

the 97 fender is different. the ecu area is smaller,the taillight is smaller. then the 99-2005. i have seen them both. when i was looking, for a spare, when i installed my mototeck undertail. incase i cut it out to much to fit the tail. the 97-98's have a smaller rear section. check ebay.

Do the loom yourself.it's only time you need. about a hour.follow those instructions.it the one on the leftside of the seat. i have done it twice, in 6 years of owning my 99 bird. second time i really cleaned the connection.

i think the digital guage. started in 01 98-99 are analog. so whats the differents between these? would the difference. in the wiring harness. be the front harness of the 00 vs 01-05

you could take your stock seat. to the ulpolster, and have him/her. cut the front of the seat,to fit you. then have him do. one or 2 things to the rear of the seat. for your girl. 1 cut about 6 slits in the pad cushion,from the point after.the seat is cut for you. which gives it more movement. 2 add a 1/4 to 1/2 ince of padding. with slits cut into it. i went with number 1. hav'nt had a complaint since. cost me 45$ and 30min. don't need corbin. i have been tring. to post a pic's of my bike. you can see ,how the seat look's. but having problems with the uploading.

don't have, the fuel pump disabler on mine. i just need help on the last two wire's that hook up the remote starter. can't find there connect point's.

i for one. have had a problem with the loom. twice. both times, fi and lights flashed, bike cutout. but the problem with the loom for me. was corrosion. cleaned and everything, went back to working normally. i posted on this matter. here. oh yea mines a 99
