    Real quickly...

No, it is 120, less 10. The master link is really not a link, it connects two links. You count rollers for the number of links. MaXX

    Real quickly...

Yep, it is, just found it in my manual. Thanks Ken. MaXX

    Real quickly...

Yeah, I do too, but can't remember for sure. MaXX
  4. what is the stock chain length (number of links). I can't find it in my shop manual. Thanks, MaXX
  5. For you to go through all that Ruhi and give Gary and Spiegler the review you have speaks volumes of their Character. Integrity is sometimes hard to come by, seems ample in this situation. MaXX
  6. I am sure you did, that is why I stated it as such. Frustrating as hell no doubt. MaXX

    Tire plugs

Do it if you have to, bring more plugs and CO2 when you travel, be prepared for heavy steering or major failure???? With that, I would do all I could to get a new one, there are other places that you can get a tire then SW Moto and maybe pay $10-15 more. I think it is worth it. MaXX
  8. That line would have fit much better had you rotated the fitting 180, and would have not likely failed on you. :? I was going to say the same thing unless there were some clearance issue or something, that line should have been rotated?.?.? With that being said, the frustration factor alone in your situation is enough to warrant the return.... MaXX
  9. Assholes!!! If you want, I can post pictures of my stock set up!!!  Seriously guys, I know how frustrating this can be, hopefully Wilbers comes through with shining colors VERY SOON!!! MaXX
  10. Very Cool Randy!!! I am jonesing for some wheels for the XX bad. Probably some Forged Mag in silver... Don't know yet. MaXX
  11. ....but if it works just fine for 10-15 changes, you CAN leave it alone. All of that is fine and at a quarter a piece, not much of a hassle if you live right next to the dealer. With that being said, if you don't want to change it, you CAN leave it alone. MaXX
  12. A good mechanic can do it without, I'll agree. Good mechanic = torque wrench or calibrated hand. But I would never recommend someone do it without replacing the washer ($ 0.25). Oil pans are too expensive. Don't you ever accuse me of being a good mechanic. I prefer lucky!!! Seriously though, it is like the rear sprocket on the XX, I just don't replace them...until really worn or I have to. Plus, I stopped doing it when I went to the Stealership, bought a washer, it was the wrong fucking one, took the other off already, had to drive back....just saves me the headache of dealing with jackoff's. MaXX
  13. In 57,000 miles on my former XX, I never replaced the crush washer, just an fyi. It is required in the manual but in real life, I would call it only recommended if that. MaXX
  14. The one I pulled off my bike fit very well. I just didn't like the look.... I think heat is the trick. MaXX
  15. BTW, if you are going to raise the rear, I also recommend dropping the front 4 MM. This combo was the best I found. MaXX
  16. The best, 4 washers, slotted, staggered and slipped on. Why: Cheapest, easiest (doesn't require taking the nut completely off...) Concerns, if for some reason a washer wiggles free. I put over 40,000 miles on 4 slotted washers, never a problem. MaXX
  17. That is the website I used to build my set-up Rick. You have a PM. MaXX
  18. Me, I would put a different front on. Showing cords on the back is one thing, cords on the front would freak me out. PLUS, wear is exponential as tread gets thinner and thinner. Don't know why (or really care), all I have experienced is once you are down to 1/4 tread, that last bit goes much quicker. MaXX
  19. I have found that the XX is a relatively good self healer. If a problem persists, I investigate (which rarely happens). Just an FYI, MaXX
  20. Thanks, I think you are right!! MaXX
  21. So my 98's number is 2105513? MaXX
  22. Thanks, was that for the 02 or the 98? MaXX
  23. Thanks Joe, Do I have to remove the plastic on that side? While I am at it, will you come and get the numbers for me?? MaXX
  24. where is the engine number located? I need it to transfer some titles here in MN. Thanks, MaXX
  25. I don't' have any problems!!! With the internet anyway MaXX
