Someone stopped by today and he liked the bike!

His concerns were tires and the fact it has 32k miles. I can respect that.

Looking at my records, the Front Pirelli Strada "E" has 12,500 miles on it and the Rear Pirelli Strada "E" has 5400 miles on it. My previous R tire, Pirelli Strada "E", last 12,700 miles and the previous F tire, Michelin Pilot Road, lasted 10,400 miles.

I was asking $7900 and he offered $7000. I feel that is low but would compromise on 7500 as I agree w/the F tire "should" be replaced. He said that it wouldn't last the riding season and I agree w/that.

He is looking to buy it this week!

Your thoughts please...

Unless you are desperate to sell I would not come down on the price. The riding season is coming and there will be plenty of springtime buyers.

Kelly Blue Book puts it at $8825 so I would say $7900 is good deal with all the extras you have on it. 32k miles is not a lot for a touring bike.

You could sell it to him for $7000 without any of the extras.

Those would sell quickly on the FJR forums without too much problems.

If want the cash fast, I don't think $7500 is too much of a comprimise from your original asking price of $400 more.

Otherwise, I say replace the tire yourself, and stick to $7900 firm.

I'm not the haggling type. If I like it, I buy it. Cash

Well whether he hands you actual cash or a cashier's check, it is the same either way and doesn't affect the selling price in my opinion.
