Have done the pump/release for 40 years. It is time for the good stuff.

Do you have a favorite?

I found two on a web search that are metal, and less than $100.00.

Actron Brake bleeder

and Mytvac

Any experience with these?

Thanks,

Craig

Mityvac is all you need, $30, done.

+1, and you'll find more than just one use for it, as well.

I really like my Mityvac.

Make sure you put some grease around the bleeder fitting threads to stop vacume leaking. Otherwise you'll have to pump continuously to keep the vacume. This isn't a Mityvac problem and would apply to any bleeder you get.

Mityvac for sure. I have found that it does not work well when you have speed bleeders installed.

But if you have Speed Bleeders you don't need Mityvac, right?

Thanks for the replies.

I plan to still buy the Mityvac shown, even though it is a more industrial model. I have seen rebuild kits for it.

I know the speed bleeders work well for brakes.

I have had problems using them on my trucks clutch. It is a 30 inch vertical drop from the master cylinder to the bleeder, and I just can't seem to pump fast enough to get all the bubbles out.

Another plus for those of us with CRS is the case, which will help keep all the parts together.
