Involute Posted September 28, 2003 Posted September 28, 2003 From the "For What It's Worth Dept": Put the Roads on at 16,800 miles with .235" tread depth in the center. At 18,600 miles depth was .190" At 19,750 miles (start of my Saddle Sore Ride) depth was .130". At 20,950 miles (back home after SS) depth was .100" So after 4150 miles I have got just under 1/2 of the tread left until it's bare. Should be a 6500 mile or so tire for me. All data taken from rear tire. I measured my buddy's rear (fuck you :fingers: ) just after he had his Pilot Road installed and it measured .250" (slightly deeper than mine). It could very well be measurement error but I don't think so. Quote
vfour800 Posted September 29, 2003 Posted September 29, 2003 My rear Pilot Road was 0.255 when new. After 2242 miles it is down to 0.157. I estimate about 5k at the wear bars. The front looks good for about 10k. Quote
