Firstly, Hello! This is my first post and I'm glad I have found here... really useful!

Ok... Maybe it's just me being a little thick but I finally brought a blackbird as my Christmas present to me...

The bloke who owned it previously was short and the mirrors are adjusted for him.

For some reason, I can't see to move them

I have thought about brute force but I thought I would ask first before I pull the whole assembly off...

Can anyone help? please? :)

They are stiff. Go with the brute force, within reason. You're trying to get the black portion the glass is mounted to to pivot withing the housing, not move the whole thing.

Thanks Redbird :allhail: ... that worked. They are *VERY* stiff though.

Common mistake..... Lots of newbies try to move the whole thing, and some even break them.....

I didn't actually try to move the whole thing (tempted to try though) but I can really see how people would... I think there's a market for electric ones somewhere

Squidders....understand how they work.

The black framed mirror section moves within the housing.

The housing pivots forwards and backwards as well. (So when you're putting the bike in your shed, and hit the mirrors, you won't break them....they'll just fold back.)
