I WAS WONDERING IF I SHOULD SPEND MORE AND GET THE FI MODEL..

AND IF THEY'RE ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE '97 MODEL I SHOULD BE WORRIED ABOUT..

I'M TRYING TO GET THIS BIKE BETWEEN 4-4.5K

I APPRECIATE ANY ADVICE

I'M PRETTY SURE THAT I'LL BUY THE BIKE, AS LONG THE PRICE IS RIGHT...

ONE CONCERN OF MINE IS THE GAS MILEAGE I WILL RECEIVE ON THIS BIKE COMPARED TO THE FI MODEL... IT HAS A FULL HEADER SYSTEM AND THE CARBS HAVE BEEN JETTED..

I PLAN TO DO OUT OF STATE TRIPS WITH THE BIKE AND DON'T WANT TO STOP FOR GAS TOO OFTEN..

APPRECIATE ANY ADVICE

If the jetting was done properly you should still get good mileage. I average anywhere from the mid 30s to low 40s since mine has been rejetted. Expect to go 150 miles to near 200 between fill ups.

I paid $4200 for my 97 (26K miles) and except for the need of a CCT and a set of tires one would have thought it was practically new. It came with Corbins, GenMars & double bubble screen and boy does it run well!!

Had a friend ride it yesterday and I was surprised at how good it looked coming into the parking lot
