gt_mule
Had a rude awakening while inspecting my rear - a nice shiny screw fully implanted. It seems to be maintaining pressure enough for a 3 mile city ride to the dealer for a new one. It's an '03 with Dunlop Sportmax's and 1700 miles. I'm not all that pissed off because I probably needed a new one just cuz of age. Anyway, I'm going to keep the front on. The Sportmax is no longer made; I was recommended a Qualifier - is this the correct Dunlop to get? Thanks
John01XX
Dump the Dunlop Brand completely !!
cbrriderxx
The D208 rides nicely on the back for me....but I will probably switch to Metzeler. Just depends on your riding style....for touring the Pilot Powers are hard to beat. For sport it can get rider/area specific. Just my $.
redxxrdr
I started with D205, then went to D208. Finally woke up and tried something different. Pilot roads front and rear and am very happy. They wear much better, and turn in is faster. Do a search on tires, you will get many opinions. But I think you will find that most agree to lose the Dunlops. Also check out SW moto in the vendor section. They have been great for every tire I ordered.
aussie1964
get rid of the dunlops and get a set of Michelin pilot power. grip is great in all conditions. wear is pretty good getting about 7000kms out of the rear. and it corners fantastically. TOXXIC
I like the stick of the Dunlop 208's but they don't last for shit. Then again, I should do fewer burnouts too.
BackStreet
I have the Qualifier front and rear with the stock suspension and they work great all together. The turn in is much improved. The comfort is still great. They stick ok when cold and stick like crazy when warm.
YO
He Birdies, I had the Bridgestones and the Michelins but what i like the best for the XX is the Metzelers. Roadtec Z6 or Sportec M1.
NHBandit69
I'm running a Pilot Sport on the front and a Pilot Road on the rear. For the riding I do, around town combined with a lot of twisty back roads, this combination has been great.
