  1. I have a Silver 2002 CBRXX with around 17,000 miles. Motor runs mint, tranny shifts mint, clutch is brand new. Has light scratches on tail from a driveway drop, seat has small tear, needs chain, tires and the rims are bent and need to be fixed. Aside from that she runs strong and is a great ride. BIKE NEEDS TO BE TRAILERED HOME!!! New brake pads up front. Also have full givi set-up with trunk and tail bags that can be worked into the deal for a few hundred more. 3,500 Firm. Will take pics of the light scratched when I get home.
  2. I have just put on my 4th PR2 rear and am getting ~10 000km to a rear and actually wearing the sides out before the centres I was thinking of trying the Conti Road Attack after some good things from guys over east on OzBB but the distributor here in West Aus only has the lower spec ones not the "C" spec for heavier bikes and they are $20+ a tyre more expensive The road attack is by far the best sport ouring tire for grip. Cranking the throttle open leaned over in 2nd and it just rocket. Knee draggin,2 up knee draggin,2 up loaded ith luggage knee draggin, rain, wheelies,my insane 170mph morning commute, never gave me a problem with grip. Only thing is the front and rear were both toast at just short of 2500 miles. The front was worn flat on the left side and was unbalanced enough to cause massive headshake when you take your hands off the bars. The rear was almost down 2 the chord. I'm sure without powering the front up, and taking off like a jack(ass) rabbit from evey light and riding a few minutes a week at a legal rate of travel would help. Should be good for 4K miles with a older brain controling the throttle. I sent you a pm of my morning ride 2 work,6 days a week and a diffrent one showing grip right afta an insane rainstorm.
  3. Seat time, and I look through turns to the point where it looks like i'm exagerating the motion. Track helped me find lines more clearly, but I feel more comfortable and carry more speed on certain roads over the track for when the speed picks up. The track is good for when you are serious about performance and have sprung the bike for your weight to dial in the suspension with the same turns to feel the diffrence. Also nice because theres no cars.
  4. I take back my statement on GIVI's causing head shake. I replaced my front tire yesterday and noticed the old one was worn much more on the left then right side. I can load the bags up unevenly and take my hands off teh bars on the highway 2 adjust the boys now. IF YOUR HAVING HEADSHAKE WITH THE GIVI'S CHECK YOUR TIRES/HEADBEARING. That can be headstem bearings or tyre profile that causes that You are correct sir. Tire change fixed it.
  5. Newenough.com and Ironpony. There is no need 2 buy gear anywhere else.
  6. Toprack givi, and passenger 160+ real mph. Stable as sin flyin through sweepers on the highway. Only thingI noticed with the Givis is when they are on the bike will head shake a lil if you let your hands off the bars.
  7. This is mike from NYC. I purchased the bike Sunday from Charlie. Not a blemish on it. Checked that everything was torqued to spec on the axles, bars, and that nothing was loose.Registered and rode it yesteday afterwork, and to school and back. Surprisingly fast and tight handling for a sport tourer, more of a sportbike with touring abilities especially after 160. Charlie is a good guy, and completely honest with the bike. I couldn't have found a more mint bike in 10,000 miles, especially at the price it was at. It runs great Charles, thanks again. Well worth the 25 hours of total driving time for the round trip.
