Would you folks tell me where to order a new OEM battery for the 2003 Bird. The last one lasted 4 years. Is there anything out there in a sealed battery that is a good value other than the OEM?

How are you transporting your canoes.....how would you do it with a pickup? I wish could get one transported without it costing an arm and a leg. How much weight can you transport in both of these canoes?

I went and saw the bike last night. It has 28,000 miles The bike has had 2 other owners and he has had it since March this year, and he has put 2,800 miles on it. The bike has scratches and has been dropped on the right side at driveway speed. It is repairable. New chain and sprocket. He has a Two Brothers Ti oval slip on and a 4 to 2 to 1 header, it does sound good. The tank and dash are clean. He said the bike has no electrical problems. It has a alarm and he is having trouble getting it to function right. The bike runs the royal purple syn. oil. I would replace the tires. His wife wants a more comfortable bike. He said he gets 40 mpg on the hwy. with a throttle lock. I don't think he will get $4500.

I think you will like a throttle lock...look at the NEP Throttle Lock. Ask the Dealership to install one for you and buy a can of Honda Chain Lube and you are set. I am glad you are OK!! You can repair the Bird parts much easier than your body!! I know a guy that had a bolt either kicked up by the 18 wheeler or dropped off the 18 wheeler, it hit his helmet just above the visor and split the helmet rearward. He said is rang his bell but he was OK!!

Dave how did you lose that 53.5 lbs, I want to do the same, I say that as I eat my BBQ poor boy and potato salad! OH crap!

Normal orders are prepaid. This Profile 3XXX helmet lists at $550. I got a great new lid....finally! I am happy I get a new helmet for OZARXX and get to dump my Vega that needed so have a new liner and was DOT approved only. I have never liked my HJC although it is a good helmet, it never fit well for my long oval head shape. There was a pressure point that hurt my forehead!! I learned what little I know about helmets through the Arai and Shoei reps at the International Cycle Show. I will have to say I worked on Chris and got a better price....he was easy, and a good guy to work with!! If you need a helmet at a super price call him!! RC the best price on the other shop's wasn't as good as The Helmet Shop's price. Thanks for your help Griff and RC. Are we sure that is Redd in the big helmet......I wanted a start a caption contest....I must resist and not make that post. Redd will beat me with a bat next week!!!

I still love those F models, 1993 thru 1996. That is a nice bike, I wouldn't think that tire black would be safe to ride on.
