If they all acted like the one I saw, you would have had easy pickings getting shots of it being it was on the ground 10 or 15 minutes.

We have many crows.  There is a university about 10 miles from me that the crows decided to make home in great numbers.  The people there have deployed many nonlethal tactics without success. The raven that I saw was much larger than a crow and had a different shaped bill. I am no bird expert but it sure looked like a raven. 

Thanks for another enjoyable one.  Do you get any Ravens in your area?  Early one morning at work, a very large black raven landed about 25' from my office. It didn't seem afraid of much and was very interesting to watch.
