Broccoli might be something to try. I can't eat raw broccoli (makes me want to gag) except when dipped in something. As far as "normal", I've never been accused of that. 🙂

You could try tapping the carbs to loosen things up if they are sticking.

I wonder if some of the float are stuck in the up position not letting the fuel fill the bowls?

Make sure you are working with a strong battery because even though it is turning over, I have found that my bikes get harder to start when the battery gets weak.

Hey I was living life on the edge today 🙂, bought garlic hummus and tasted it for the first time. It was meh but other flavors might be better.

No, the valve is in tact and normal. I added a piece of vacuum hose, the new and original hoses connect to eachother with a barb fitting just below the fairing on the left side. Since the bike sits a lot I wanted an easy way to drain the carbs. Before parking it I disconnect the hose which shuts off the fuel flow so I can run the carbs dry. When I want to start it again I suck on the hose connected to the diaphragm to prime the carbs instead of cranking a long time. Then I reconnect the hoses and fire it up.
If the diaphragm were to fail while parked it would empty the tank onto the ground instead of into the engine. I originally planed to use a tiny ball valve, and as often happens I couldn't find it when I wanted it so I just did the barb fitting as a temporary fix...about a year ago.
This is the bike I have seen parked in front of your living room fireplace? 🔥

But only if a needle valve stuck open. Thinking of all the bikes that didn't have a vacuum shut off and many people didn't close the manual valve.

I'm just going to buy the cheapest phone they offer, a moto g power. Had one, it was slow, but served
it's purpose.
Mine is coming on Tuesday, a 2024 which just came on the market last week. Through Cricket (current customer) it's about half price. I've seen the 2023 marked $100 off. My current Moto G7 Power is five years old and still working but slowing down. It had 3mb ram, the new 8 so it should be faster and is 5G.

Same in Pa about seat belts or at least was but anyone is crazy to think they can't come up with a reason to pull you over.

The wife is getting into the hummus thing and we ended up getting these plus pita chips and bread. The bread is really good but I don't eat bread, (can't control myself), the pita chips are harder than we like. I can eat all of them but the honey jalapeno is my favorite.
