  1. lol i saw this and got hopeful. Just came in from searching my garage for my left hand mirror boot also (finally replace the mirror arm/cover and now I cant find the damn boot!) If Josh doesnt have them, I got mine from IndyOEM they were good to deal with and about the cheapest.
  2. Just as a btw... I LOVE my kindle and couldnt live without it, but the new ones have my interest piqued. Not to interested in the color model, but the touch looks interesting
  3. Bump... Where are the mirror covers close to $20? Are they online somewhere, because my dealer told me $45 for the cover, and $40 for the stay. Thanks
  4. Long time no talk Josh! Hope you healed up ok. Shoot me a PM if you do have the stay, I will bite the bullet on the mirror cover from the dealer if need be. Thanks!
  5. I know its a shot in the dark, but does anyone have either of these items before i pay the stealership $40 for the stay? Thanks! Matt

Yes, have one on my 97. IIRC, the r1 and r6 ones are interchangeable. I will try to dig up which year i used
  7. thanks all! I had actually tried the crescent wrench option, but could not get a good grip because of the lip that surrounds the bolt.
  8. Need to tighten my chain. Cannot for the life of me remember the size of the rear axle nut on my 97. Anyone know off the top of their head?
  9. thx guys, i think i should got the windscreen and mirror cover worked out. now to find a mirror stay....
  10. I am in need of a left mirror bracket, and the mirror cover in black if possible. Also could be interested in a windscreen, but may go ebay for that. Anyone that has something laying around or could point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Matt
  11. right where my ass sits of course... I will take a pic and post it tonight
  12. So there was a small crack in my seat fabric that was less than 1/8 inch long about a month ago... It has since grown to at least 1/2 inch or so and shows no signs of slowing. Is there anything at all I can do to impede this process, or am i just screwed and need to get it recovered? TIA
  13. I had this problem with my LED tail light. The 4 pin block is the one fitted to the Honda Hornet. All you need to do is remove the pins from the 4 pin block with a micro screwdriver. ( there is a tiny prong on the side of the pins that needs pushing in ) Take the old three pin block off your OEM tail light and insert the pins from the LED light in to the old OEM block. The extra wire is just an earth wire and can be spliced. Then connect the indicator wires as normal. That is the advice that I got on cbrxx and it worked for me. Here is the thread with pics of my taillight if you need it http://www.cbrxx.com/body-paint-electrical...-questions.html
  14. there is set of instructions somewhere, I hooked mine up fairly easily with them and I love my tail light. Let me see what i can find
  15. Josh, thanks for the advice and I will not be switching my old pads for sure. Your offer is very generous and I would love to ride out and check out the stable you have also. I will have to wait till i get my front tire and get them installed though, I wouldnt trust my old ones to ride on. If you dont mind, I may give you a yell once i get them on and ride out your way. Thanks again!!
