CBRXX
Hey guys, any updates on the batteries? Looks like I may need one soon. Sounded a bit slow cranking the few times out this season. Any other issues with those Scorpions? Can't hurt to shave a few pounds, but the AGM's have served me well. Only on my 2nd battery right now in 12 years on the bird, so it doesn't owe me anything. I think it replaced the OEM in 2008. Better replace before it dies at a bad time. They are listing these on batterystuff.com for the bird, but the YTZ14S is same size for $121 with 220cca YTZ12S Motocross 12v 210 CCA AGM Scooter & Motorcycle Battery Price: $109.00Size: 5 7/8 x 3 7/16 x 4 3/8 "C.C.A.: 210 Amp/Hr: 11 Replaces: PTZ12S, GTZ12S YTZ14S Universal Adventure Power 12v 230 CCA AGM Scooter & Motorcycle BatteryPrice: $69.00Size: 5 7/8 x 3 7/16 x 4 3/8 "C.C.A.: 230 Amp/Hr: 11.2 Replaces: Yuasa YTZ14S, PTZ14S, YTZ14S LFX14A4-BS12 Shorai 12v 14 AH PBEq LiFePO4 Power Sports Battery [+ -]Price: $148.00Size: 5.83 x 3.39 x 3.46 "C.C.A.: 210 Amp/Hr: 14 PbEq Replaces: YTZ10S, YTZ12S, YTX9-BS, YTX12-BS, YT12A-BS SSTZ14S-FP Scorpion Stinger LiFePo4 Extreme High Output BatteryPrice: $137.00Size: 5 7/8 x 3 7/16 x 3 11/16 "C.C.A.: 387 - As tested Midtronics model #417755Amp/Hr: *See Notes Edited April 21, 2014 by CBRXX
John01XX
My stinger has worked flawlessly and now have put away the trickle charger as it is no longer needed The engine turn over rate when starting is incredibly fast Thought the box was empty when the mail lady delivered the Stinger to me! TuffguyF4i
Have any of you used the battery from battery mart.com? Company is "big crank" and they are American made.

I note the description for that larger Stinger you got mentions they are sensitive to heat, but not mentioned on the smaller one. http://www.batterystuff.com/batteries/lithium-iron-batteries/sstx20ch-fp.html Plus, it's $
