chrisweir
Hey guys, Sorry for not posting more, but I live in California and because of the weather we get to ride a lot. I purchased my CBR used and it has BEAUTIFUL high exhaust on it. The bike Dyno'd at 142 HP which I thought was a pretty good numbers and the pipes look great. Thing is I want to run passenger footpegs and you can't do that with these slip ons mounted. New slip ons are expensive, but I am under the impression that these mufflers are very desireable and no longer available. I'm thinking $550 but I'm open to suggestions. They are in EXTREMELY NICE condition and look fantastic. Anyone? http://chrisweir.com/xx011 http://chrisweir.com/xx001 http://chrisweir.com/xx003 http://chrisweir.com/xx004 http://chrisweir.com/xx005 http://chrisweir.com/xx009 http://chrisweir.com/xx010
Fiona
Nice pics of the bike/background.... pipes are too distant in the pic to really make out any detail. Got anything closer? Any details about brand of the pipes?

chrisweir
Sorry about that. There are several links in my message which if followed will show more detail. The picture in the bottom with the pipes sort of distant is my signature file. Sorry for the confusion and thanks for your interest. The pipes don't have any writing on them, so I'm not sure what they are. They do have a rather intricate and stable mounting system. Its very nicely built. TOXXIC
Could they be Migs with the name plates removed? (Not sure how easy it would be to do) They mount like Migs.....

lexxus
So Joe, what you think about that fender? What bike did your front fender come off?
TOXXIC
If they are Migs, which I am beginning to suspect they are, you can run passenger foot pegs, but must shim them out to clear the mid-pipes. I used a stack of washers and was able to make the passenger foot pegs works.
