slowrideCX Posted August 25, 2010 Share Posted August 25, 2010 Mac check the temp sensor connection for any corrosion, Ruhi was getting erratic high temps and though he had a problem . We removed the temp sending unit and cleaned both the sensor and the electic plug put a little dielectic grease on the plug and it fixed the problem. XXSIVSPD Posted August 25, 2010 Share Posted August 25, 2010 The weekend of WiXX I noticed mine getting hot quicker than usual with no leaks & normal coolant levels. After a quick peek at the radiator, I noticed I had picked up some of that cement like sludge from where they cut it wet in construction zones around here. That & a fair amount of bugs lodged in the fins. Also tested the coolant & noticed it's good to -50f. Power washed the radiator & added some water wetter. Much better now...
