ROXX
Alright, I am going to change my fork oil and I see that you have to check the level after filling. Can't you just add a certain amount? Say the 16.3 ounces that is called for, and call it a day? Why is it so important to measure the level as opposed to just adding a preset amount? Redbird
Air gap has a lot to do with resistance to bottoming. Too much air can lead to excessive front end dive (yes, even with proper spring rates), too little can lead to a harsh ride or even hydro-locked forks. Good tuning tool and something you want to have right.
ROXX
I'm just going to use the stock spring for now. I'd like to preload it some. What size washers would I need for that?
