curing time for gasket sealer?

okay, I had to replace the gasket around my stator cover, but I'm wondering how long I need to let the sealer (black type) cure before I can fire up the bike?

By the way, there is a thread on the VFR forum about a guy who is considering trading his VFR for a BBXX if anyone wants to jump in on that with advice?

From the last time I had to use it, an hour or two to tack up and you should be able to fire it up and check for leaks. 24 to 36 hours for full cure. I probably wouldn't ride on it for at least 24 hours.
