TOXXIC
Any thoughts on whether a Dunlop 207RR would be a decent street tire for the 'bird? Cycle Gear has deal a set of them for $159.
RodeRash
There seems to be a lot of "close out" type deals on 207RR's. Dunlop may be coming out with a new DOT Race tire in the near future. Here's a board link to a "street vs. race" comparison. http://www.cbr1100xx.org/faq/tires-race_vs_street.html I find it very interesting that the race tires shed heat so quickly that weaving back and forth actually lowers the tread temperature, rather than raising it. Northman
Dunlop's replacement for the 207RR is now the 208RR. Prolly stick really good, but won't last very long.
TOXXIC
OK. Thanks guys! I think I'll stick with my current wheels, even though they lack 25% more thrust!

TOXXIC
Sounds like they aren't recommended for the street?
