dragonryder
Josh, I have not owned a V twin but have ridden extensively a SV650S and Craigs Magna as well as countless dirt bikes before I bought the GSXR 1000. I never really had a chance to see what the Gixxer would do flat out as I had not done a track day and I usually was riding from work or to work or was 2 up with the kids. I had it up in the triple digits a few times and wow what a rush. I have heard lots of good things about this bike so I wanted to contact you. I have a feeling my insurance is trying to screw me because they said they would be out this week to see my bike and so far no show. I called but Wend and Thursday were really bad weather so maybe today. I can't commit to purchase another bike until I see what the insurance will provide. I have been stuck in the house since the wreck partially because of no vehicle and partially because I have been having such pain that I could not NOT take the pain medicine and did not want to drive. I hope to be able to return to work and riding mid January once my collar bone is not so sore. As soon as I can get some answers from them I can let you know. I don't know how I would get it though I would borrow a truck and I have a bike trailer. How difficult is it to lower? This is another concern as I am vertically challenged at 5' tall. The GSXR 1000 was lowered 1 1/2" and was comfortable when I had my riding boots on, Thanks for the information Anita

Aint that the truth. I took the SV1000N out for a couple hours today.......I love the v-twin for cruising them backroads!
