Redbird
If you dont have the speacial oil seal hammer whats a good way to press the seal down enough that the lock will fit into place? A length of PVC pipe of the appropriate diameter that extends past the top of the fork, plus a hammer. I used to use a piece of 2" PVC on the seals on my KTM (50mm forks), never had to source the proper pipe for 43mm forks. 1-1/2" might be close, just makes sure the pipe seats on the seal and nothing else. Involute
What my Cabbage eating Hispanic friend said............................but....................put the old seal between the new one and the PVC pipe while driving it home. The old seal is softer than the pvc.
