Fonzie Posted May 5, 2008 Share Posted May 5, 2008 Where does everyone have their idle screw/cable adjuster thingy??? Is it supposed to be laying under the tank, down by the shock & motor? Doesn't seem very convenient down there if you needed to use it, but doesn't seem long enough to really stretch somewhere you could get to it more easily Also.....What's everybody's idle set to? Mine seemed a bit low yesterday when I was puttin' the bike back together after finally gettin' her to start. I've got it set for about 1k now. Sounds good to my ear, but just curious what's the norm Anyone got risers on their carb stacks? Notice any difference performance wise? I read one claim that they could add 4-6 hp by installing.
