Niteflite Posted December 6, 2007 Share Posted December 6, 2007 I just did the first (my first) oil mand filter change on the XX. Switched from Honda semi-synth to Mobil 1 Motorcycle full synth. Nothing major, can't really understand the issues I've read about here dealing with difficulty reaching the filter, etc. Didn't even need to put the bike on 2x4 as my pan fit perfectly underneath. Anyway, in the posts I've read here, the one filter I never saw mentioned was the CarQuest brand. Just like Napa's, only black. Made by Wix (even has Wix branding on the back of the box). Nice heavy, solid construction feel like Purolator and Wix branded. $8.05 with tax locally. For those interested it is part number 85358.
